Someone is building a Timber Star... Too bad It will not be anything like my Timber Wolf Bina... I mean Envy!
Edit: I would like to see a few elements from the Savage Wolf get blended into the original Timber. The Savage looks sleek and sexy, and I think reducing some of the boxiness of the Timber would give it some fresh aesthetics.

If They don't ask you to use this, and You don't say yes, THEY AND YOU ARE HERETICS in my mind o.o;

99% of all BT-Fans love the Timber Wolf because it is "the Mech".
...so the chance to misplease is very high in this case.
But, honestly, this is the best TimberWolf-Design I`ve ever seen.
If it will look like this one in MW:O I could become jealous of the Clans... but I defenitely will always be happy to see one on the Battlefield.

why rework it when it was already this AWESOME back in the 90's? Seriously - if it looked like this in game I think it would come full circle with everybody's first impressions of the franchise and would appeal more to everybody who grew up loving mechwarrior.
Also note the difference in leg joints - which are actually offset at the knees.
The MW4 Timberwolf was a bad rework in my opinion.
I appreciate your renderings were hard to make - but I am sorry I have to abstain. This one is the one we should have - the iconic symbol of mechwarrior!!

i like that redesign and the MW2/MW3 wolves are nice because they are iconic especially in MW3 it was the Poster child. But the Redesign looks like it would fit in perfectly next to our current line up of updated mechs. plus less head shot room the better lol. now i would like someone to do a quick redesign on a summoner and adder. what would be the first 4 mechs? summoner Timberwolf Mad Dog and .....? DireWolf? probably not since heavy heavy heavy assault but yea i can't wait for the redesign of the clan mechs.

they shouldn't fit in though as you say - because they are Clan Technology from half a Galaxy away!!! They already look so damn good - maybe just add a little more detail - and BOOM - MWO has the ultimate Wolf! I personally would hate to see any departure from the traditional Timberwolf we have all come to recognise.
I also don't see more or less headshot room on either mech.. ?
