Anyway, Yeah, I'd buy the Dawg. Why not. I'm far more likely to buy a Hero mech for the lulz like this than buy one I would take seriously because of it's quirks or different hardpoints.

Not according to the EULA we all agreed to to install the last patch. (Or the one I agreed to for Closed Beta access). And if they needed further re-assurance, I would gladly sign. They have already used community designed product in the Champion Mech. It was the intellectual property of whoever designed the winning entry. Be it an idea or a drawing, it is all accounted the same legal protection.

My only reservation is which QQ would be greater. The QQ from those who hate having urbies on their team or the QQ from those that get killed by said urbies.
