I like it, but the "badge" on the crotch thing stands out to me. It reminds me of someone hiding their nakedness with a leaf.
Traditionally(if I remember right from some of the older game book pictures) most unit insignia locations are on the shoulders(outboard or forward face), left or right torso, or the forward face of the shins(where you have the "**"). That's not to say you can't put it where you want. Personally, I would make the insignia smaller and put it on the outboard face of it's right shoulder(which you wouldn't see in this pic) and on it's left shin, replacing one of it's PDs.
That's me, though, and this is your artwork so take it as you will. I do think the design is pretty awesome. If they made it so you could turn the red and blues on or even just the search lights(which are a nice touch, btw) then this would rock pretty hard in game. I would totally blind someone's night vision with the searchlights in River City Night. I wonder if there'd be a way to record a 70's style police chase scene.....

Since a huge part of the representative population of MWO has consistently said they would buy a Hero UrbanMech, essentially sight unseen, and thus it would be bringing in money for PGI, and giving the Player BAse something that most people seem to disagree with you on, and actually want, I find your logic entirely lacking.
Do you not like it? Oh, OK. Are you hard core Min/Max Warrior Leet? Oh. OK. Neither are germane to this discussion. Feel free to polish your prized gaming mouse.
