Why You're Probably Right About...

If you think something is broken and you feel the need to complain, do so. If it turns out people disagree, the forums will self-moderate that issue by giving you few positive responses/likes.
If you think the developer needs to do more, do not give them reason to slack off by simply holding your tongue.
If you are quitting, share it with us. We will miss players that were fun to interact with, and PGI will too. They should know when their game is driving people away so they can fix it. Your thread most likely won't stay at the top for long anyway, so it's not like it's going to be in the way of all the other topics that are "so much more important" than losing a player.
You are the players. Make yourself the driving force behind the development of the game that is FOR YOU. If you want PGI to succeed you will tell them exactly what you want in order to keep you interested.
Notice I do not need a poll to see if people like this thread. If they don't, it will not see the light of day for long. Go forth forums, bring justice-y goodness.

Well, I was actually hoping it was a duplicate. Turns out it's a completely different topic, which is disappointing. Being a duplicate would simply prove my point.

This is why I voted to close your thread. You don't actually care about what you wrote, you just want attention.

He's right it is and its more to the point.
and worth the read for that matter.
His point is exactly the opposite, hence the title of this thread.
And I said the same thing without needing 100 lines to do it.

Sounds like the mantra of K-town.

Sorry, that one was too easy and thus irresistible. I'll be serious for a moment though.
What you are saying was, at one time, kinda true and useful advice. There used to be a time when well reasoned feedback was not lost in the Sea Of Tears that has become General Discussion. That has long since past, one might get some traction in the Suggestions forum, but that is doubtful as well. Just like all game forums, this one has become nothing more than the gamer's equivilant of "He Said, She Said" - but instead of telling one side of a story we are debating what each individual thinks the game should or should not do.
Let's take a look at missiles. This is now the 3rd time, since closed beta, that missiles have swung wildly from being OP/FoTM to the complete opposite. I forget the mechanics the first time in CB, second time was 90degree/through terrain Artemis, this time it was splash mechanics. Frankly, it's starting to look like the old Planetside 1 approach to "Round Robin" game balance. For a while the MCG is the top dog, then that gets a nerf and the Lasher is top for a while. Then it gets nerfed and the Jackhammer reigns supreme for a while. The forums for PS1 were largely to blame for that mess, and this forum is taking MW:O in that direction. Unless people stop over-reacting when a game mechanic legitimately breaks something (like those people who though 90degree, right down onto your head, through any and all terrain Artemis missiles were just fine and told everyone with an ounce of common sense to "l2playnoob") we're going to be right in that same Round Robin Game Balance boat that ruined PS1 and not too few other games as well.

I don't know what that is. It's more the mantra of beta testing.

I'm a grinch on these forums, but well said.
The Grinch will save Mech Warrior with the strength of 10 Grinches+2. One day we will all sing the happy-time song at the end of The Grinch.

K-town is the part of the MW:O forum where all the best threads go to finish their lives bathed the glory of gratuitous posting and surrealist banter that would give Luis Bunuel and Salvador Dali conniption fits of jealous rage.
Also, I added content to that post that is actually relevant to your thread. There is a reason that posting in General Discussion is pointless, and that reason is the players who post. That's a tldr version in case my edit came too late.
