first off a short history of my experience after early April patches.

i basically crash every game 5-10 mins in, full system crash needing force restart. i could only dream of playing the builds i came up with in Smurfy's. i finally couldn't take it so i tested in training grounds only to find out i crashed just as much there. i tried all sorts of home remedies only to fail in misery. mid April patch didn't help either. up till two hours ago i had a tally of 34 crashes out of 40 matches.
two hours ago:
i had a epiphany, i did something i never did before. i manage to stay in training grounds for prolonged periods. i repeated this step 4 times. all 4 times i manage to stay in game for over 20 mins.
this is what i did.
i launched into training ground and went afk, came back after ~20 mins to repeat.

crash is HISTORY!!!!

thank you thank you!! this post might as well be a crash course in wasting time. HAH HAHA!! im so lame! what a shame! that this game is to blame for all my flame. HAH HAHA!!

going coocoo because i got my crash fix on.

im not joking about not crashing when not playing.

Description of Ignoring a Common Cause

This fallacy has the following general structure:

1. A and B are regularly connected (but no third, common cause is looked for).
2. Therefore A is the cause of B.

This fallacy is committed when it is concluded that one thing causes another simply because they are regularly associated. More formally, this fallacy is committed when it is concluded that A is the cause of B simply because A and B are regularly connected. Further, the causal conclusion is drawn without considering the possibility that a third factor might be the cause of both A and B.

so.....??.... wife says, husband "always" leaves the toilet seat up. one day the toilet seat was set down, so the wife must of used it........ bee bee wrong, maybe the husband took a **** that day.

are you saying there is a problem with the code? and things they add (like the patch) isnt the problem but how the code affects the patch is? or something along those lines?? tbh i dont care what the problem is, i only know there is a problem.

I am simply saying that your crashes may or may not be related to the April patches. Full system crash requiring a system restart? Sounds like there might be something in your OS that something in MWO is exacerbating. It looks like it happens when you are actively doing something in MWO so maybe MWO is putting a lot of stress on the CPU or GPU and overheating it?

i wasnt crashing before patch. iv checked many many many times that cpu or gpu is not over heating. i also do not crash in other games. iv done everything a non techy can do to find out whats happening. iv done all basic things you can think of except reinstall os.

and buy new rig
