Why can't we have separate upgrades for the different missile types?

I would love to be able to equip Artemis enhanced LRMs and normal SRMs on the same mech.
I don't see any negative sides to adding this.

Also, when I equip both SRMs and LRMs on a highlander or atlas's torso, the LRMs keep getting put into the side pods that have a limit of 10 tubes when they could be in the spot designed for them that can has 20 tubes. This is extremely annoying to me. Would love to see that fixed.
