How does it feel to experience the pain of Hunchback 4G pilots? How does it feel to lose your right torso in the first few seconds of combat, and then be utterly gimped for the rest of the round? To be the first targeted? To watch your mech become helpless?
For you, there will be salvation; The re-buffing of missile weapons, but for 4Gs, there is none.
Remember us, when missile get patched (in MAY! LOL!). Remember us, when this thread gets kicked to the curb.

I find the highlanders to be quite sturdy, even with XL engines. If I lose my torsos, it's only after I've made their team pay a terrible price.

People seem to have issues hitting the side torsos in my Highlander.
I suspect the gigantic CT gets in the way.

don't seem to have that issue........
I actually really like piloting my Highlander, which surprised me. Unfortunately, I happen to suck at fighting in it! But seldom get my "hump" nailed.

They can still hit your gigantic hump ...
While moving at 92kph in my 4P? Not reliably they can't. While maybe not the easiest mech to play I still think the hunchback is fine as it is. There's advantages to having all those weapons in that one shoulder as well as disadvantages.
