I just watched the Ricky Gervais interview on the Daily Show the other day. Apparently he does things like this with Twitter:

"If no one re-tweets this post, I will donate 10,000 pounds to charity"

(his followers re-tweet that a few hundred times)

"No Seriously, if no one re-tweets this post, I will donate 15,000 pounds to charity!"

(again, his followers re-tweet that several hundred times)

Then he goes on to re-post the comments people make about how stupid his Twitter followers are. It's almost enough to make me want to read his Twitter feed.
