Lately all we are seeing on the battlefield are the assault mechs. When will there be a weekend event dedicated solely to lights or mediums?

For the lights, to prevent a mass of 3Ls with streaks running around. Don't have kills or kill assists as a criteria, but actual scouting techniques. Using TAG, NARC, Spotting enemy units, possibly Kill assists.

Mediums are supposed to be the workhorse of the IS mechs. Give them some love too with their own OPT-IN weekend event.

Just hoping to see more diversity in the mechs on the field, and hopefully weekends like this would do so. If you need to, have them around the time a new light or medium is introduced to promote participation.

Dollars to donuts Medium vs. The World will happen with the Blacjack's release next month

While we might see a Light vs. The World, it might not happen till the Flea is released, which might mean we see another Heavy (Orion) Tourney before that.

Well, Looks like lights might get some love soon, as hinted in the Assault vs. The World thread. But I hope Kills are not a factor in a light tournament... 3L's and Commando's with streaks would be what all people will see.
