California here - got it at the moment, although not quite as bad as I had it Monday night. So it's not this latest patch. I think it's either hardware or software.

AZ here.

I've had this issue before this last patch, but it seems worse with this patch. It's not consistent across games and it's even fixed itself midgame.

I'm in TX. I have had it 6 times now... did a reboot of router, emptying cache, but it didn't work. I'm able to at least do some phantom scouting for my teammates though! Too bad it is in an assault mech. :D

The problem I have with this "problem" is that it's reporting MY location to everyone else just peachy. It's NOT interpreting MY movements for ****.

See, last match I was wandering around and came across this Cicada seemingly shooting into the mountain. Then I noticed I started taking damage. I would turn, the Cicada would turn seeming to follow something, that I couldn't see, I'd fire at it but of course I couldn't damage it. Then I somehow got it targeted, and I turned opposite where I wasn't facing the Cicada and just fired my lasers splashing them randomly, and then a little later the Cicada seemed to take damage.

I'm RECEIVING updates fine, I can see everyone, but this ****** up piece of **** game is NOT using the info from my client on my movements.

It's a one-way **** up.

It's only portion of the user base.

Obviously they've ****** up some 'individual' settings on a portion of their gaming base.

I am not getting the rubberbanding like that. my end seems to be continuously flowing until i die, though i die nearly instantly and find myself in a different location than i was in before.

my last test ended up with on the caldera in caustic and getting the OOBs warning and when I died I remained on the caldera and apparently OOB.

I don't always get the rubber banding. There's a little in the second, but not much.

What happens is that sometimes (see the first video) my client resynchronizes and I warp dramatically (once, I warped clear from one side of Tourmaline to the opposite side), sometimes I get lots of smaller desync/resync events leading to jerky rubberbanding, and other times I get no rubber banding at all but am instead - as you stated - permanently out of sync with the server.

And to clarify with a bit more info - my lance mates see me standing in place the entire match, but the running graphic is playing... they also see me fire when I fire... but of course I'm not connecting... and one match where I played solo, I must have moved because it had me out of bounds. On my map, to me, I was in the middle.

Okay I have tested the issue some and heres what i have figured out:

My account is affected on this PC and another PC
My friends account is affected the same way on this PC and the other PC
Both PCs are on the same router and both show low ping (70 -100ms)

PC1
CPU: I7: 3770k
GPU: ATI Radeon 7770
Memory: 12GB @1800

PC2
CPU: AMD Phenom 925
GPU: ATI 4870HD in CROSSFIRE
Memory: 8gb @1600

This leads me to believe it is either ATI GPU related, or somehow router related.

Happening to me. I am in Mississippi. It happened on my work computer and home computer. I use ATT internet at both places, DSL at work and UVerse and home.

I'm pretty sure it's not PGI's fault, but rather a bad hop to the server. A lot of Texas users have this problem on and off when trying to connect to Star Trek Online.

Try running a tracert to patchserver.crypticstudios.com and see if you get any Request Timed Outs. I get a bunch and I'm willing to bet that this is the issue. It always happened later in the evening when that hop got overloaded.

Hey there! This has been escalated.

Please continue to use this thread for discussion as I have forwarded it to the network engineers and they are currently investigating the issue.

Thanks for your patience!
A heads up to them, then - I filed a support ticket for this when it started for me, and sent in tons of diagnostic data.

It was support ticket 76786.

Nope. I ran traceroute's to MWO's servers directly during and after problems. I've actually alt tabbed out and ran them while desynced. No problems.

Also as an FYI, I'm using ATT Uverse in O'Fallon, IL. It worked fine earlier today around 3PM CST, but when I logged back in around 7:30 PM CST it had this issue and it persisted through restarting my computer and the modem.

i have experienced most of the bugs in this game, but usually i am able to play through them. But since the latest patch the game is unplayable for me.

match starts....i start walking...then i teleport into a wall...then im back walking again..zoom takes over 10 sec to work most of the time.

What is the server IP? I couldn't find it to do a tracert.
