So the Clans invade, then they're stopped. Now you need to push them back into the inky black void from whence they came. What's your pick of the first crop of IS Omnis?

I like the Black Hawk-KU. In prime variant, it's a nasty infighter, while the A variant can be used for long range.

Gotta love the nasty punch of the Sunder. Even at long ranges it can poke hard with those LLs, and if you round a corner facing the full brunt of an Alpha Strike, you can just pull the eject lever right then.

Thought it was an ol' succession war-design! However, i like the Firestarter and i vote him again.

There are two Firestarters. The 35 ton Succession Wars 'Mech, and the 45 ton Clan Invasion OmniMech. They're typically differentiated by the designation, with the Omni Firestarter's variants being FS0-A, B, etc.

That said, I love my Owens.

I prefer a sunder that thing can dance, and then deck you, it has some pretty sweet moves

Not to mention the firepower to match...

Yeah, I got the hots for the Nova-series* BattleMechs/OmniMechs.
*Which consists of the Nova (Black Hawk), Black Hawk-KU, and the Supernova.
The Penetrator is more of a red-headed /b/tard step-child.

Firestarter, because it was a refit of the 35t, I never played with IS omnis, though I did hijack several clanner units in long campaigns.

Owens, but these pictures of Dodge are pretty epic - looks like Blackhawk's little brother. Or Supernova's kid :)
