But in fairness, I think it's been 4 days since we've had a raven thread.

If ecm wasn't in the picture, I would take a Jenner over my Raven. But taking a Jenner only hurts my team in an 8 man.

BTW, a flock of Ravens is called "murder" for a reason.

Oh, we'll see more very soon. Lots of folks running 3L packs in response to PoptartWarrior. I almost bought myself one, but I already have enough speedy mechs for back-capping assault decks.

we're seeing a bunch more jenners though. which is a very good sign.

i think its because the raven is bigger and more susceptible to the state rewind ballistics.

The only Raven that is even remotely imba is the 3L. Since you can hit their legs by shooting in the exact opposite direction of where they are, it's not that hard to kill them with lazors and dakka...but seriously, their leg hitbox is friggin' HUGE. Large lasers r@pe the living hell out of them.


The 4X and 2X are both pretty much obsolete, particularly the 2X (because Jenners have better hardpoints, the 4X can at least poptart with ballistics with more tonnage than a Spider).

yup any kind of mad scientist build that you could do with large ballistics on a 5k spider you can do better on the 4x raven, and then even better on a cicada with good speed.
