Thats what Ive been running to good result.
The Awesome should be the only assault capable of going over 60kph. That way there is a remotely big difference between it and the stalker (which is better in almost every way)

As a (not very good) fencer, I can tell you that just like in sword fighting, when playing in an awesome any opponent worth his salt will still hit your chest anyway.

Might work against one enemy.
Not two.
Certainly not three.

And more often than not, the enemy is going to sport a larger gun than you. Sadly.

Yeah, PGI this issue has been delayed a long enough time. I say delayed, because the problem is big enough that I don't even take into account possibility you, not seeing it. It must be dealt with, and the poll shows it as plain as possible.

I have never piloted it but i always jump for joy when i find myself facing an Awsome. These massive blobs are essentially, to me, huge walking targets. And whats more they go down fast.
I am in my 65 ton Catapult K2, "Nightwraith"
I should not be loving being against one of these, even with my extremely heavily modified chassis i should be dreading it. There is something really wrong here.

So i voted yes.

Lenient hardpoint system, pin point convergence, bad DHS mechanics, and no tonnage limits kills the Awesome (including many, many other mechs and mech variants), not it's size.

The tonnage limit might be fixed with the coming lobby/dropship mode. But the DHS, pin point convergence, and hardpoint issues are some of my top fundamental issues with MWO. And if they are never fixed, this game will always forever be in limbo in terms of balance.
