Heres an example of creative from my other thread..
I see tracks..
So, how bout there being a train of somesort that winds its way through the main part of the map..?
Make the train destructible. ala, you can derail it with enough firepower.

So, eye candy , that doubles as a tactical embellishment.
I.E.
If you see the enemy in the vicinity of the path of the train, derail the train and possibly send the wreck into an enemy formation .

One destructible object that can interact with mechs once collisions are implemented again, giving the train an appropriately balanced mass value.

Re: Moving train...

I recall somewhere that they are working to implement moving platforms into maps, thus I believe riding in/on a rail car would be theoretically possible...

LOL! New micro-game incoming = board / disembark the moving train without busting your arse... ;)

One critique. Instead of regular looking train rails why not come up with something that looks more like (scifi) MagLev rail.

Naw... Then the MW:O / classic train aficionados would have a snit.

RE: To much stuff germane to ME:O release elsewhere and not "here"...

While I appreciate the fact that it seems that PGI is pandering to other sites and providing substance that should be privy to this site first... there is a real, valid and logical reason for this: "SEO" or search engine optimization.

Sadly SEO manager is yet another hat I wear for my employer and back-linking is a huge component of website search engine relevance scores. While many don't necessarily appreciate SEO optimization, it is one of several marking tools that drive search relevance and traffic to MW:O's website. This along with content-relevant advertising (Ever wonder why you get MW:O adverts on the sidebars on your ****** site?) ;)

well its incompleted. so brayn is giving us a sneak peak its meant to be informal. i think they expect to put polished things on the website

and its better than nothing.

Nothing to stop them putting a screenshot up on the official site and stating that it's still a work in progress?
