So I started getting an interesting bug last night. It occurred on every map and different mechs. It even existed after a system reboot. Basically what i saw on my screen for my mech was completely different from the server and what others saw. I could freely go around the map and interact with other players, including the enemy, but they could not see me. As can be seen in the video, my ping is fine and my view is smooth but I appear to warp to my friends. I can't zoom, target enemy mechs or cause damage with weapons, although I visually see hits occurring. I can't cap either. It is almost like there is massive packet loss between me and the PGI servers, but my network and other things like TS are working fine. After restarting my network chain, everything is back to normal so I am convinced it was a packet loss issue but only on my outgoing, not incoming. So, two things: First, I hope this isn't exploitable by those savvy enough to control their outgoing packet loss rate dynamically...this would be an awesome scout mode! Second, I wonder if some of the mechs I have seen in game and thought "bot" were really this phenomena? In any case, MWO probably shouldn't be this tolerant for packet loss as, at the least, it ruins the game experience, and at the worst, might be exploitable by unscrupulous people.

Here is a link to a video documenting the phenomena.
