I've got a question about the clan, not familiar with the lore. When and why did the bears become warden?

Was there a mention of a date or vote done by the touman to switch? Online sources don't mention anything.

From Sarna:

Quote

On 12 April, 3060, a month after the fall of Huntress, Victor Steiner-Davion led the remaining reborn SLDF into the Strana Mechty system. Granted safe passage, Prince Victor's forces landed near the Hall of Khans. A delegation of Prince Victor, Precentor Martial and other SLDF officers met with ilKhan Lincoln Osis to call a Trial of Refusal against the invasion of the Inner Sphere. ilKhan Osis agreed to the proposal, however the Ghost Bears were not pleased and claimed the Trial was exclusively against the Crusader philosophy and their invasion. Naming themselves a WardenClan, they refused to take part in the Trial

Thanks, that made things clearer to me.

Btw, i was attracted to the ghost bears due to the bond of family, even though that concept is not that familiar to most trueborn.

Hi my name is Star Captain Stefan Jorgensson. My favorite mech is still the Timber Wolf. But my trial of position mech was and will be the SUMMONER! My AC10 was destroyed, my PPC also and with the last 2 shots of LRM15 i have made my 3rd "kill".
I have played the Table Top with my best pal and he asked me which Group I am interested most.
He wanted me to join Jade Falcon - YUCK!
But I feel a little bit sorry about that Clan Ghost Bear has not so many stories in the 61 books and also the Dark Age series.
But I will hope that MWO will introduce some of the most favorite clans to the MWO Universe.
Thats why I have the Davion sighn at the moment. If I would be a FREEBORN I would choose Davion.
Hail Kerensky!
But I am still missing the 3rd book of the founding of the Clans (Operation Klondike).
Exodus and the first setting of the Clan founders are there to read but not the 3rd and last book/story.

Wait... where did you find a translation of founding of the clans book 2? I have read book 1 and have been biting at the bit for over a year to read part 2, lol.

I have been tinkering in Photoshop working on various CGB things... I decided to try my hand at a CGB logo.

Since we already know what's going to happen to the FRR, is there anyone who has intentions of making a joint Ghost Bear/ Rasalhague unit? Like this example:

If we had some FRR/GB who wanted to form a 'joint cluster', we would openly accept it... Almost all of the Ghost Bear unit I am part of run with FRR logos. Most Bear's like CGB due to the fact they merge with the FRR, and that we are the only Clan to successfully amalgamate with our brothers and sisters in the inner sphere.

It seems possible to do since we know the fate of the FRR during and after the Clan Invasion years.

For some that's part of the appeal of the FRR, the chance to rewrite history. We just earned our Independence, and we plan on keeping it! Ghost Bears may be alright as far as clanners go (and a hundred times better than Blakists) but there's no way they're going to just roll through us without a major fight on their hands.

Earned? You did not "earn" anything. The DC gave you away as a present to make a buffer zone between themselves & the FC. Do not fool yourself with delusions of grandeur. You were given away, it is not the same thing.

Hailz Trothkin!

I understand you have allowed our sibkin Nekhron Kirov to abide with your Clan for the nonce.

Treat him well and he will serve with the distinction and tenacity a Blood Spirit warrior is known for. As guest warriors to other Clans during NBT days, those of the Clan Blood Spirit often meant the difference in their success.

And if you need fillers for drops against ANY stravag, call upon those of us who still claim the Clan Blood Spirit as our "home".

Good to see some familiar players are Ghost Bears.

It is time to modify my mech's paintjob..

Quote

Children of the Bear, hearken to my words:
Be always vigilant. Learn for yourselves that which your forebears imparted So easily and freely; Demand of yourselves The foresight of Jorgensson And the courage of Tseng; Through them, we are strong. To them a debt is owed, Repaid through loyalty undying and Character unflinching.
