Hi all

Just dropping in to express my interest in joining Clan Wolf. Unfortunately due to work commitments I'd probably have to disregard the competitive scene but as and when I return from work and whether or not I file a successful application I'd like to opportunity to still drop in and train with the competitive side as I feel I'm starting to hit the solo player skill plateau. I'd class myself as somewhere just above the average player but I wouldn't say great.

I've played both with and against 'Errodien' on numerous occasions and value both his experience and advice though his humor is an acquired taste ;) (<3 ya Erro). So if anyone is going to block my app it's probably him ^_^

I'm from the UK but I'm usually on during both Euro and US prime time and I'd like to meet and play with some new people.

I'll be sure to drop into the TS when I get back from this trip (4 and a half weeks to go) and see if I'm worthy of being part of an organised group.

Looking for a Galaxy to join. Still getting my feet wet with the clan Mechs, but enjoying them throughly.

Time Zone: MST

Will be watching the boards.

We have a fair number of folks in the pacific time zone, so you shouldn't have any issues finding an open drop. Hop on our TS sometime @ clanwolf.ts.nfoservers.com and say hi. An officer will meet you in the landing pad to explain the full application process and grant you TS privileges.

Having dropped with you a few times on NGNG, I'm very happy to see you're looking at joining! Now we can continue the shenanigans any day of the week ^_^

ok my question is: How that we have Pvt matches in game is Clan Wolf going to new Trials of Positions and Trials of Bloodrights for all Clan warriors in the way that they should be done or just leave it as it is and just do Trial of Positions for New people who ask to join?

Not sure I fully understand what you're asking, but here's a breakdown on how things go:

Trial of Position
Cadet is matched against 3 opponents. One matching his weight, one 10 tons lower, and one 10 tons higher. When he/she is ready, they pick one of those 3 mechs by firing on them. If they defeat them, they are granted the rank of warrior and given the option to pick a second opponent for the chance to earn the rank of star commander. If they win, they'll be given the option to stay or continue against the third opponent for the chance to earn the rank of star captain. Failure at any portion of the trial results in an overall failure. The cadet will have to wait a minimum of 1 week before attempting another trial.

Trial of Bloodright
31 warriors who have been members of the clan for at least 6 months are allowed to signup for a chance to win a bloodname. They must either be sponsored by a warrior who already holds the bloodname they wish to fight for, or (in the absence of a sponsor) receive permission from the clan council. For warriors who have not been part of the Clan for 6 months there will be a grand melee. The victor will be allowed to fight in the bloodname tournament in the 32nd slot.

All brackets of the competition (32, 16, 8, 4, 2) are 1v1 combat, single elimination only, with the exception of the final match (best 2 out of 3).

You guys active? How are you handling the games declining condition?

Are you involved in any competitive leagues?

I serve Clan Wolf Alpha Galaxy, 4th Wolf Guards, Bested 2 in my Trial and earned Star Commander.
Currently, I'm in the employ of the team SiG. But that may or may not last, so I'm just gathering information to be prepared.
I spent 2 years in The Remnant and held officer rank there for some time.

Not really seeing a decline in the game's condition, but we're pretty active.

As for leagues, we're in the process of getting things organized for league play and are looking to join one before the next seasons start.

Indeed, we are pretty active. The only thing i see is that finally some bottlenecks have been removed and this game can only improve (or so i hope :P )..

Our Loremaster has already answered. However , if you are interested in how we do Trials of Position (you have asked it to every Clan i see) i can post soon two videos, barring any objection from the Council ;)

The Blessing of Kerensky -

Here, with the Strana Mechty wolf, we see what may be the epitome of a warrior, cunning

matched with instinct and stealth, joined with a final, terrifying attack. For this mighty

creature, I name you. You are Clan Wolf.

-Nicholas Kerensky, 2810

Clan Wolf Mission

Clan Wolf of www.clan-wolf.info is a lore-based Mechwarrior Clan that endeavors to provide a fun, competitive and team-focused Mechwarrior experience to its members and uphold the honorable traditions and conduct expected from Warriors of Clan Wolf.

We are Clan Wolf, Children of Kerensky. We carry the honor of his name on our shoulders as our fathers did before. The remembrance speaks to us of the evil in man’s will, of the reasons for exodus, and the rights of the traveler. Arcadia is our destiny and our right. Enlightenment is our gift. By the bloodnames of the founders we must return, return and protect that which is unique among the stars. Terra awaits us, as it was written. We are the last of the warriors, the sole hope for the Earth...

Greetings, Freebirth! Clan Wolf is searching for skilled bondsmen to fill its roster. Currently, the Clan participates in both MWO and MWLL. We are a heavily lore-influenced group, sticking closely to the path set by our founder Nicholas Kerensky. We are a fiercely competitive group of players looking for like-minded recruits in this time of strife, in order to prepare them for the war against the Inner Sphere. We have developed several training routines to help develop the skills and sharpen the teeth of new warriors. As a Clan, we will hone you into fearsome Mechwarriors, and together we shall strike at our enemies and take what is ours.

Simply put, welcome to Clan Wolf’s recruitment thread. We are indeed a competitive and tight-knit unit, created over 10 years ago. Our Clan has participated in all of the Mechwarrior games since MW2, and are a part of the NGNG(No Guts No Galaxy) Clan community. All skill levels are welcome, as we have many players who are willing to help teach and hone your skills in-game. Our roster is filled with many military/working class people that enjoy just chatting and joking around while destroying our enemies. As a new recruit to Clan Wolf, you would become a Bondsman of one of our veteran warriors. Over your trial period, you will not only be trained in the ways of a Mechwarrior by our instructors, but you will also be tested in your abilities. Upon reaching the end of your training, a bondsman is put through a Trial of Position to earn the right to call himself a Warrior of Clan Wolf.

We are a friendly bunch of people, so if you are reading this and are interested in one of the most storied and renowned Clans in Battletech, or even just want to learn more about the game/lore, improve your skills, and meet some VERY fun people, please stop by our TeamSpeak. It is open to all 24/7 and we would be glad to answer any questions you might have.

After attempting to register on the Clan-Wolf.info forums the activation email was never sent. How long does it take for that email to show up?

I would really like to get registered here.

Strange, i do not remember it take so much time. On the other hand, it was more than a year ago..

Check your spam folder, just in case. If you do not find it i will ask one of the website admins if they can check your registration.
