You started the childish insults with calling him a noob, and quite frankly calling someone a noob is more childish than calling someone a ****wit or worse. Endless threads are made, because people want something changed and they don't see it happening. Because they don't see it happening they will keep making, keep posting, keep liking, keep trying, until a change that is satisfactory is made because people aren't carpets and don't want to be walked on just because PGI has to make money.
And IGP probably does fit into it somewhere, in fact I'm sure they do, but we need to direct ourselves somewhere and PGI are the ones working on the game. The fact is that we can clearly see where PGI is "failing", and we cannot clearly see what IGP is making them do, meaning pointing at them is meaningless.
Changes are made at a disgustingly crawling speed, and it annoys people. Do not be shocked when they look back at how things were, compare it to how things are now, find little difference, and be seriously peeved.

As an aside there is a poll on reddit about the forum changes. But not on the Official forums. What have to say about that?

Remember this is a heated environment and being playful without making an obvious joke does not mean much, winking and smiley faces come off as sarcastically annoying at best. Remember your on the internet.

I have spent so long trying to be positive about the things PGI does and white knighting the game in general... but it's really been going backwards recently. No two ways about it. The QQ on forums exist because the causes for QQ have not been put to rest. Ever since CB there's been more lip service than there has been change and constructive interaction between the developers and their community.

Yeah sure. I will give you that. But you need to treat a person like they are a human being. Respect. This community can be so toxic. Just observe how people freaked out about not getting images for the Trebuchet...yet it still came on the due date the next day. Their is something called constructive feedback. Something many people here do not seem to understand.

People will get used to the new structure and doesn't prevent anyone from raising a discussion point so what has been lost?

Has anyone stopped to think that they might be trying to re-organise the forums so that staff who can focus on specific topic material or subject matter more relevant to them can read the customer opinion more readily about it?
