Just what the title sais. Been having this issue since the april 2nd patch and I think it got worse since yesterday. My pings are fine 50-150 and I've banded at times almost 3-400 meters in one direction or another into building off cliffs into other mechs and had so many shots mis because I wouod band asI fired. Also the wwwwwwwwwwwwwww bug and no map bug are still there got one the other or both Iin at least half my games yesterday. And its not my system laging that's for sure.

Same situation. I ran some pingtest.net tests, yes my connection is sub par with a 2%packet loss and 200 +- 8ms ping, but it was the exact same before that patch, and i had no issues at all. Right now i cant play at all, not even with LRMs.

I expect this post to stay respectful and maybe, this way we will get a response regarding if they acknowledge this as a bug/issue or not, and why... So, bump on gentlemen!

yeah..same for me..simply unplayable atm (and has been since the last patch .... yesterday was pretty ok though)
(pingtest.net to a server in torronto: 0% packet-loss; 129ms; 1ms jitter; just for those that say it's my isp :) )

I have been experiencing "rubber banding" since the early April patch as well. I typically have fairly good ping times (30 - 50 ms), and I do not recall any rubber banding at all on my system prior to that patch. I don't get it every match, and when I do it is more at the beginning of the match. However, it has been a consistent problem over the last few wks.

Victim of the 4/2 Patch. The last time I encountered this sort of rubberbanding was during the "The netcode needs to be redone" phase in closed beta ..... -> Sad Panda

Downloaded and installed the patch last night, dropped into one match (Tourmaline desert), still having rubber band issue, but not as severe as before the patch, still not playable though.

Never had rubberbanding at all before this patch. Afterwards, my husband and I could not play the game at all last night. Rubber banding so severe it made the game literally unplayable. Delays in vision mode switching, zooming, etc. All while having a nice low ping of 80-90.

Doing online packet loss tests showed I had a loss of 1%, and was getting 20 up and 5 down.

Dropped today, after patching, had some fine games. Then I joined a group and been rubber banding ever since. I'm now reinstalling the game to see if it helps. Also waiting for a reply from support.

*edit*
Reinstall didn't help a bit. They need to address this yesterday.

Same here. Severe rubberbanding ever since HM patch. Indeed ballistic firing delay was fixed but how can I fire when I'm being teleported to where the game THINK I should be?

Also this renders my Spiders totally useless.

Yeah, having the same trouble here. I have never had a rubberbanding issue before the April 15th patch and my ping is always somewhere in the 30-45 range. Now, the game is essentially unplayable if I go any speed beyond 32kph. Faster than that and it takes a full five to six seconds to rubberband me to the place the server thinks I am instead.

I have also experienced with a straight 60 ping that I will get displaced of a ledge sometimes. Nothing extremely crazy but it would be nice if it stopped.

I am sure that the Devs who made this awesome game are already fixing the problem if it is not already fixes.

so..tried to reinstall:
reinstalled --> worked fine for 5 games--> 6th slight rubberbanding--> 7th back to unplayable (rubberbanding is so severe i'm literally never in sync with the server)

Edit: btw. any input (like zooming, heatvision, shooting etc) is delayed by 2-3 mins.

Edit2: hey guys...I might have found a solution to that wierd rubberbanding (while still having a relative low ping)..i just noticed that MWO was not on the exception list for my firewall (the standard windows thingy) added it and suddenly the rubberbanding is nearly gone (wierd thing is, i distinctly remember putting it in the list 4 or 5 patches ago...)

Checked Rabbits tip. MWO wasnt on the exception list of the firewall anymore, put it back manually and as far as I can judge it does help. The testing isnt worth much because it were only 4 games.

I tried this and also adding the TCP and UDP ports as exceptions also... but didn't help me.

Ok,

Horrific Ruberbanding tonight. I even died from an OOB warning when on my screen I was in the middle of the map. PIngs were in the 50-60 range.

Other games are fine so pretty sure its on PGI's end.

the rubberbanding started for me after the 4-16 patch. It is very game breaking. Targeting, zooming, turning, moving are all negatively affected.

Pretty sure it is not my internet since I did both an east coast and west coast test and got normal pings and 0 packet loss......

Rubberbanding also started for me this patch. 1-3 second delay on chat messages and zoom/vision control. View snaps around and I've have my mech warp around buildings (not the direction I was walking or looking... or wanting to go at all).

Severe packet loss from toronto?

my ping is in the low 70's, and i'm having the same issue. High movement speeds exacerbate the issue, to the point that once i actually got a rubberband port inside the wall geometry of a building.
