This hotfix addreses the 'rubber banding' issue. Servers will come down at 10am and be back up very shortly after.
Anyone who received ANY small amount of packet loss would, essentially, never send that data. This should fix that, and the rubber banding issue should be gone entirely.
HOoly cow! I play on a cellular-connection, and just assumed the issue was on my end!
Many times have I known I had moved to a particular location - behind cover, for example, and 2-3 seconds later, I'd magically pop out into the center of the opponents' body Needless to say, those matches didn't go well, though I had accepted the rubber-banding as my fate (over cellular)....
Thank you very much for identifying the issue!

On a similar thread, we're still trying to track down the cause of the various HUD issues that are occuring, but we have no ETA. I'll make a post the second I have news.
Thanks everyone, see you on the other side!
Was this the Big Twitter announcement that didn't get announced yesterday?
BTW. hanks for the fix!

Take another time to set servers offline...
It is 19 o'clock evening in europe
Maybe 3 hours erlier or later?!?
You'll always be inconveniencing someone in the world. So, 3 hours earlier would mean those involved getting to work at 7 AM, 3 hours later... well, I'm sure that'd bug someone.
I don't mean that to sound Amerocentric or whatever a good, non-made up word would be...
But, for me. I like the fact that a patch/hot fix is coming at the point of the day when those involved have had their Recommended Daily Allowance of coffee/energy drinks/tea, whatever, and there is still plenty of time in the day to fix it if it goes horribly wrong.

We are investigating the FPS drop some users are experiencing and we hope to have a solution/fix for our next patch.
