It will be interesting to know winners' builds, if they would be so kind to provide them. I wonder how many PPC boats were in the top tier. Ok, I don't wonder)

You`re misinterpreting it I think.

If you win all assaults, you onviously have the bonus of winning your chassis class unless you were rotating mechs.
If you win the highlandder class in one variant, the same applies, you get a bonus for the variant win.

Only MadSavage won 2 different chassis classes. The other 2 are "automatic" if you stick to one chassis and win the overall class.

Eclisse could have beaten Leimrey and taken home 3 wins, would still be fair.

Grats to the winners.

The only thing I wish for is that perhaps in future there could be some sort of smaller prizes for those further down the leaderboards. I quickly realised it was hopeless for me to get to 1st place, but if there was a tiny prize for the top 50, or even top 100 then there would have been more incentive to keep playing/trying.

That said, I enjoyed the whole thing and it was nice to try different builds and tactics in an attempt to do better.

With such tiny prizes I actually thought everyone in the top 15 would get it. Sadly, I was wrong.

Yeah, grats to the winners and I also would like to see their builds...I don't think they'll be ppc boats though.

Congrats Savage, looks like you dominated those highlander's buddy ;)

Here's some footage of him piloting on our channel if anyone wants to see his Highlander in action (and maybe steal his build!)

Happy? eh, I don't know any of them, if it had been me I would be happy. It's the way the tournaments are set up top prize for variants top prize for the chassis, one guy is good enough to pull it off in two different variants, congrats, that's one heck of a player.
I guess if what you are getting at is "here's another reason to hate pgi", don't really see it with this one.
