Be nice to see at least the top 25, maybe 50 in each catagory.

gz2winners
It will be interesting to know winners' builds, if they would be so kind to provide them. I wonder how many PPC boats were in the top tier. Ok, I don't wonder)

Good assortment of builds in the tournament

Congrats to all winners.

One question though.
What happened to the rule about having to join matches solo? or did I read this rule incorrect?

Three players won twice on the leaderboard.... anyone happy with that?

this is MWO, we don't kitten here, if you don't like it, get better and take the title away from them next time.

Grats to the winners -- got 2nd in the Heavy Metal but couldn't pull out those last 100ish points before the tourney ended -- having a wife & 10 month old really cuts back on playtime lol. I do wish that the top 3 in each category had been announced like in the last competition though -- I wasn't too concerned about the MC but it would be nice to show that I got close.

Well, it wasn't really thought out too well because the overall winner would also have won in their mech class as well. It's double-dipping or double-jeopardy (whatever u prefer). Same deal with the highlander mechanic. A Highlander player was always going to win at least twice unless they were also the overall winner.

Now, what I'd really like to see is the weapon stats for each winner. That would be telling. My prediction is = PPCs, LLs and SRM6s.

I think the issue was the nature of the fights. You have to remember that the Awesome is also the lowest tonned assault, and needs to rack up some DPS rather than flat out ZOMG WHAT THE CRAP JUST HIT ME damage that the other assaults can dish out. The other assaults can simply carry more gun.

I scored very well initially, but as the tournament progressed it became far more cut-throat, and matches were often over before I could rack up enough damage.

Friggin awesome fun though. Thanks to all involved, and well done Bata.

Congratulation to all the winners!

As there was some very tight competition at the to of the leaderboard, wouldn't it be better to give out smaller prizes to the top 3 players? Something like 1st place 1000 MC, 2nd 350, 3rd 100 MC / random Cockpit Item or similar?

I guess if what you are getting at is "here's another reason to hate pgi", don't really see it with this one.

I don't hate PGI, they had been doing a good job with the game....

I just don't agree with how they're handling the tournament, one of the reason why I didn't opt-in. Which make me worried if they'd use the same format when they get to Sarna's Arena Tournament.

Is this the winner of cram as many PPC's LL's and DHS into a mech online?

Given equal player skill it would have to be Stalker re above...
