I'm confused, how come their website still only has 13.3 as beta and 13.1 as release?

What are these new ones supposed to help out in MWO? Anyone try either yet?

You may need to clear out your cache, it is showing the new drivers.

13.4 worked great.

13.5 Beta 2 immediately stopped sending video input to my second monitor after install. It's a monitor that's VGA only, so I have it through a VGA-to-Mini-DisplayPort if that's a thing for you.

AMD CCC still recognizes the monitor and extends my desktop to it, though.

I patched today and I run a 7970 with the 13.4 drivers. Now I get driver unsupported and it exits the game. Great. I will try a full reinstall and see if it works.

I updated to 13.4 yesterday. I haven't had a crash yet due to video driver crapping in either MWO or Farcry 3. I think we finally have a driver Cryengine likes. I still get flickering textures, but that's an MWO bug.

EDITED as FC3 does not use the CryEngine.

FYI Farcry 3 is not a CryEngine game. It uses the Dunia Engine 2.

S!

The 13.4's with their CAP1 seem to work just fine in MWO. And in other games too.

I've recently updated to 13.4 and now the game is graphically unplayable for me, which is a first. 'Mechs in the mechlab are but a grey silhouette and in game it's all funky with purple whirls everywhere and weird colours... I reinstalled the game and reinstalled the drivers, and no change.

Trying the 13.6 beta drivers now.

13.6 beta drivers have made no change.

I remember being at around 12.4, and so it must be something between 12.4 and 13.4 that has ruined my day.

Any advice or possibly solutions would be highly appreciated.

1. Did you do a complete driver install first?
2. Check video card settings and set antialiasing to application control.

Was a complete driver install both times.

The 13.6 beta driver made it very laggy (I've never experienced lag with my 6870 Vapor X) and everything was negative, so I'm going to completely remove the driver software and put 13.4 on, then I'll have a look at the AA.

Thank you! I'll post back when I've done all that.

Just had a BSOD half way through my uninstall... I'm scared

Setting the AA to 'Use application settings' worked!

Thank you very much Tarl! You've saved me from hours or possibly day of torment!

Excellent to hear that you are up and going!!

This is not the only game where Nvidia and ATI/AMD cards/drivers handles things, humm, differently. Add on top of that the internal testers systems are rarely set to default user settings, having already been tweaked and such, never mind the equipment being used.

The above scenario fits both small and big companies. It is not until something hits the general population with all of their equipment and settings, at which time feedback is provided that points them to a way to track down and correct the issue. There will be times though, even if they are aware of it, that specific items are not changed/improved on.
