Dear PGI,

This "Deep Periphery" forum represents a clear waste of resources, the hundreds of man hours gone into creating a new forum show IGP's misunderstanding of time management and skewed priorities. As a show of my disgust, I am canceling my MWO subscription, throwing my computer out the window and literally donating my next paycheck to the Front National. You have messed with the wrong forum poster for the last time IPG and I hope you are very disappointed with yourselves. Furthermore this is obviously a push to stifle important discussion. Don't they have freedom of speech in Canada?

PS: Also Kaetetôã is not even very good so I am not sure how you do worse. Maybe you had listened more to your loyal fanbase and made sure that forum organization rules corresponded to tabletop rules. the game has been out for forty years so of course they are balanced.

PPS: The "Help a Player" forum is badly overpowered and in need of a serious nerf.

PPPS: It would be very helpful if PIG would clarify its intentions for the meta-forums-game, as it is clearly out of control right now. I think if you do exactly everything I want the game will be better and sell millions of subscriptions. The only thing holding you back is yourselves.

I am gratified that this has come home, like the family dog left behind in a move.

Still, I have to question such overt mod taunting. I understand that they can be grumpy sometimes.

Oh well, sometimes jokes don't go over well. I will fall on my comedy sword.

So, what, how does this work now? I'm supposed to storm away in disgusted chagrin and not post in the thread again? That's how it usually goes. In an effort to save the discussion:

Dear k-towners: when was the last time you made a joke that totally fizzled? (aside from all the time, of course)

You could storm away angry, that would definitely fit the pattern for many posters.

All the time, I have been batting .000 since I floated down here atop the bloated corpse of GD.

Greetings!

Welcome to KAETETôã

Home of the MODS

It is here that we Forge

Terrible threads into bad threads

Bad threads into good threads

And good threads into great threads.

If this thread is new to k-town it is

probably because it is terrible

worry not we are making it better already.

K-town does have 10 Commandments*

*10 for for now

We also have the Sacred Pages penned by the MODS themselves

And

The Gospel of the MODs written by Acolyte of the Word RoadBeer

Also

Enjoy the BATTLE HYMN OF THE MODS / POST LERIAN JIHAD WAR CHANT

Please review these so you too

Can post better and enjoy the blessings of the MODs

While avoiding being smote first

In the coming Digipocalyse.

Praise the MODS, Tremble before the ELDER MODS.

Also part of our family here is the

Post Lerian Jihad

“We Post better than you”

While their official home is now in Depe

Their mission of speaking truth to stupid

And civilizing not just the wilds

But all of the forums.

Enjoy your stay here in K-town

Dearest Octatonic:

Please do not despair for the countless wasted electrons that go into every copy-pasted post, low-effort spam, or centre-aligned (or even right-aligned) poorly thought out gimmick post here in K-town or in DP.

Do not despair for why 3 posters have 90% of the posts in this forum, as we do not know if they have gainful employment, or are simply staving off insanity by posting.

Do not despair for your attempt at humor falling on blank eyeballs. Such is the nature of comedy.

Despair for the why behind all of these events though. These are all indicative of a larger underlying problem, and the powers that be see fit to either Fiddle while the Inner Sphere burns, or to rearrange the deck chairs of the Behemoth Class Dropship Titanic instead of dealing with the issues of the day.

All of these electrons lost, like tears in rain.

So we wait. And watch. And see.

We here at The Word of Lowtax thank you for your visit to Kaetetôã. We here at the Word of Lowtax realize that you have limited entertainment destinations and appreciate that you're spending your entertainment electrons on us. Please continue to choose the Word of Lowtax in your future holiday destination spending! We are grateful for your out of the box, blue-sky thinking, and appreciate you touching base with us here at the Word of Lowtax. We hope to synergize our efforts to achieve quantifiable paradigm redefinitions in a future collaboration soon.

Robotically Yours,
Anders
