Well since we've gone down the road of 55 subforums.

Would it be possible to add the ability to hide subforums?

I'm getting exhausted trying to sift through everything here. And it would be nice to be able to trim the fat for myself.

Thanks.

One thing is for certain, it is now impossible to find anything here.

The number of sub-forums has become ridiculous.

Collapsible forums at the very least, it's a real scroll fest in the main forum, as it currently stands.

Great idea. All the new forums have done is split up the traffic and probably allow PGI to say "there isn't enough community interest". Look at the gameplay discussion, is there anything focused about that? Polls are piled on one after another and sometimes polls can have 10 questions. Mind you this isn't unlike before but since everything was centralised important topics gained traction and had lots of comments and sometimes a genuine discussion took place and the thread kept alive by activity. It takes too much effort to find anything and chances are not as many people will see it so important threads get pushed down with the garbage.

Only 55? Just wait till launch, there will be hundreds...maybe thousands....

...we need that ability yesterday.

I'm just trying to find a way to deal with this. Especially when I'm on my phone. I have a Galaxy Note II one of the biggest phones out there, and it's still a hassle.

It's 88 now if you don't include the archive section.

I bet you guys complain about too many channels on television too... right?

having said that, I wouldn't mind collapsible forums.

I don't watch television because most of it is crap and I hate commercials :V

many cable boxes these days have the ability to favorite channels anyway so you can see a condensed list too :D

If there were ones with just 1 or 2 episodes covering the entire channel for some channels, yes I would think it's a waste. For example we need an FAQ subforum with 1 thread in it as much as we need a TV channel that plays the same episode of Top Gear 24/7.

Oh and every show on each channel had to be 100% focused on one subject with no deviation (since there is nowhere for more general programs covering a wider subject matter). And any show vaguely similar to an existing one is cancelled as soon as the staff realise.

Not my idea of quality broadcasting.
