well that just means the light is helping you kill the mech faster then you could have on your own

Not as impressive as some of the posts in this thread but:


I was rather impressed with that score. The last player put up a darn good fight. Stripped what was left of my armor and had my CT orange. We played cat 'n mouse through the canyons until I got to his base. That was a darn good fight either way. I should mention this too: I had NO efficiencies unlocked at all.

Not my highest damage (I think I hit 1066 once) but it was my most kills, I think. Really 3 of us did most of the heavy lifting. Even when I get a lot of kills, I rarely do a TON of damage (1k+ is rare). It's either because I'm good at picking damaged mechs, or I'm decent at hitting the same spot over and over.

I know I did around 900 damage LRM boating on my Stalker 5S earlier in the week, with most other Mech's though I do around 350-600 damage in a good match, when I am running a Light such as my JR7-F(C), I usually do around 100 damage and let the heavies do all the killing in a Conquest game

I had one time some ~1450 damage when i tested a Raven 3L in the ECMageddon.

I've achieved 1730 damage once in my HBK-4P, but it was before I could be bothered to install some screenshot application, so all I have is a photo of half of the screen, taken with my phone. It's not that impressive, though - amongst my kills was a centurion, taken out by the LRM ammo explosion, and two assaults with depleted ammo.

This happened today, 6v8 and we won fairly easily just took a little while. Best ever was in a splat cat but no screenshot so no proof.

I've yet to get a screenshot to come out right, but one way to tell awesome damage from overkill is look at their kill+assist

if you see a 3k + 5a and 1600 damage, thats a good sign, they averaged 200 damage and found a way to get into every fight
but
if you see a 3k + 1a and 1600 damage... that might not be something to brag about. 400dmg per mech is not a good habit to get into (though there are definitely worse habits).

if you want screenshots to come out correctly, run the game in windowed mode. not full screen.

this way, the standard of hitting print screen, then pasting in paint will work.

Just played this match. This was my build: HGN-733C Edit: Whoops, missed some armor on the legs in smurfy, but I had it in game.

First match I've ever used up all the ammo in my Mech lol. Was left with just the LL's for the last minute or two. Most of the UAC ammo went on an Atlas D-DC on the slope of the volcano. It was also 7v8 their way so we were out tonned too.
