I want a button that auto shouts rhetoric at the troops I am commanding, and to be allowed to TK without penalty if my orders are not followed. Otherwise I am not able to RP a commissar. PGI please fix.

Is it even possible to take command of a pug group? Everyone want to be the lone hero and cohesion only lasts as long as the general direction everyones going remains consistant. There seems to be a very survival of the fittest mantra with mechwarriors feeling genuinly insulted when direction is provided.

I would kill for a solid commander in pug fights but so far thats happened maybe twice in my pug experiances.

If we get Commissar powers, does that mean we can shoot cowards in the back of the head to improve the morale of nearby survivors?

If there was a selection process for commander, sure.
As it stands the commander is whoever presses the button first, and I hate the idea of giving any Jackass the option to "make an example of me" because he feels like it.
