If so, where is it? (For those of us who don't like facebook or twitter).
I'm talking about the stuff that doesn't make it into the announcements subforums.
I'd prefer to stay engaged, but...

I wonder where this is going.

I just wish they'd post more important things on their front page. Then I could just skip the forums and stop getting in trouble.

Twitter, Facebook, Twitch, NGNG, IGN, IGP about any and every gaming website, magazine, podcast and forum EXCEPT the MWOMercs website are your best place for info. If only there was some for of general discussion or in game lobby chat for MechWarriors to converse about pertinent MWO data....... !!!

No you need the Readit, and tweaters, and myspacebook.

The only thing around here is locked threads and MC sales.

Yeah... see, General Discussion made it too hard for the mods to clean up. Also segerate the ideas and put them in various places, to silence dissention in the ranks.

Really it's for your own good.

Honestly I find it insane that PGI hasn't learned from company's that came before that tried this crap.

It works for PGI, now they don't have to worry about the forums cause everything is just noise and people will stop looking. I guess I should take my own advice.

We are still reviewing your constructive feedback regarding forum changes, and we will be making changes in the very near future (and throughout the next week) in response to constructive community concerns.*
Please be patient while we review your suggestions; reworking the structure is a process, and we'll be revising the structure in a way that we hope will address the major issues brought to our attention by the community.
I would like to extend a special thank-you to everyone who has voiced their concerns with a positive attitude. We hope that we can all refer to this issue as an example of working with our forum community to maintain an environment that is rich with ideas and constructive dialogue.
In the meantime, please visit our dedicated thread if you would like to discuss these ongoing changes, or you can use this thread to suggest a sub-forum or for general forum suggestions.
*We understand that changes can be frustrating, and we sincerely thank you for your patience. However, spamming us with duplicate threads and insults has delayed our response, as we have had to spend our time sanctioning users and removing content that violates our Code of Conduct. Please remember this when providing your feedback in the future.

Update - There is a section of the forums called "News" where threads about 3rd party articles will be held. Here's a link to the introductory thread of that subsection:

http://mwomercs.com/...hs-in-the-news/

Right now there are no other threads because, I believe, the subsection is new. So, if you see a 3rd party News article, then send a link to those staff members and then the News section SHOULD become the place to go for non-announcement news articles.
