There is only one thing which could make me forget every mistake PGI did, and this would be an epic surprise.

And the last two news make a part of me say: "The Clans are coming, and they fooled us the whole time!", but the other (bigger) part says: "If you expect nothing, you can't be disappointed."

Just reminding you of the potential

Interesting, I wonder what could be happening out there on the periphery. Could it be a solar flair outbreak causing disruptions in the burst communication?

Hmmmm... either Comstar has their maintenance and support contracted out to PGInterstellar or something else is very, very wrong out there. Uncharted comet? Or maybe a roving meteor shower is knocking out hubs one by one?

Spoiler

Hmm good point maybe it happened in the relay system for the burst transmission where they hub at and get relayed from?

It could be a plague. Something fast and nasty leaking like a miasma from a long range freighter...

The emore I think about it the more i think it might be the result of that distant Pulsar they discovered formed a few weeks ago..... anybody else noticed that the outages seem to be moving towards us, from the same direction the pulsar was? I`m thinking the radiation is just overloading and frying hubs and relay stations... if I`m right and this keeps up, Comstar and the HPG net may even be "silenced" in a few months until the stations get rebuilt .

Can you imagine the mass hysteria and widespread panic that sort of dropout would cause? People would be going ballistic thinking that their c-biills are worthless....

I think I need to install gun racks in my mechs...

Too many planets for one solar flair, no?

One relay with no alternative routes? Even in medieval XXI century it was already barbarity.

Why I said outbreak, as in encompassing more than one sun.

It's sounds more like horror story for kids than how it happens in the universe.
Maybe ComStar hide something? Plague of some sort?

You're all fools. Solar Flare. pfah. Its clear that C* is once again jerking us around so they can score points with the houses.

Its an interdiction.

They did it to Tharkad. They did it to FWL. And now they're doing it again to everyone coreward, no doubt until the FCC and the DC give up whatever they were scheming to do to C* and come groveling to Earth.

I hope the Lords do manage to stick it to C*. And if some ROM stick-in-the-mud reads this, I have a message to you:
****** in your ***** you ***** ********** ***** ****.
Thats what i think of your **** ***** ***** Blake!.

I dunno the tech behind the relays but, are they indepedent or are they connected in each other so that some them are dependent of a master realy or something?
