I am going to attempt to win at least ONE day for the light in my Death Knell, or at the least a NON ecm NON streak light....

If your'e going to try that, take a Jenner. Doing that in a DK sounds pretty hard.

This is why I wish they would show the mech variants used for the top 10. If the winners aren't conventional variants, it might get players experimenting with different set ups.

I hope that in the future they'll be able to divide the tourney into the specific chassis like the hvy or assault tourney while preserving keeping every wieght class represented instead of just a hvy tourney, etc.

still a lot of popsniping. LRMS are still worthless they just dont do enough damage to be useful even with TAG & artemis they suck.

but it is great to see such variety of mechs on the battlefield, best tourney yet.

It might have the unintended side effect of increasing the same old cheese we're used to...

lurms can get u assists and they center on CT so can get u kills on a weakened target, so yeah there is that.

That's assuming that there are mechs in the top 10 that aren't using optimized/cheese/op/whatever builds. I find that highly unlikely. I saw Venerable Hobo yesterday in a Jenner-K, and more power to him - but I don't expect many Jenners are up there, and if there aren't many Jenners then there won't be any Commandos or Spiders.

I am in 42nd place atm in my TDK for the day. Not top 10 but we all know what all the top 10 are piloting

I find the trick is not the dogfight, you best bet is to support your heavies/assaults.

Got 825 points on my Spider-5D and 8th at the moment on leaderboard. Going to sleep now and expect to drop quite heavily once a merkins get playin'. Figured 850 on it would be pretty reasonable goal judging from my good games.

I'm using a Jenner, was 11th overall the first night, 80 something tonight, 18th overall, not enough matches and too tired

Damn yardwork and massive sunburn crimping my style.

Sadly it looks like ill be ending the night as 701 on my TDK 68 place.

I was doing well, but now every other light i run into is a RVN-3L, and PPC boats with missile slots have Streaks, making me mostly useless
