I only buy peripherals that enhance performance. This thing is just a gimmick.

the controller itself is pretty cool... but nonetheless useless for pilot who are used to a mouse...
also and even more important... its quite a lot easier to target with mousemovent thn while a joystick

therefore... won't buy it...

When torso movement was fast as hell yes. But with the more realistic rotation speeds in MWO you may find the mouse is not as nice to use as it was in previous titles.

I do hope that this joystick setup will be successful, but I myself won't be purchasing it, as I already have a hotas joystick that works for me.

Currently 48 yes to 163 no. I think that's a resounding NO, so far. However . . .
  • We haven't even seen how the game economy/experience systems work yet, yet we're being asked to buy Founder's Packages
  • We have less than 2000 beta invites out so far between the first round and this week, yet we're already seeing the concept for a MWO peripheral that would make Steel Battalion blush.
PGI is asking for A LOT of trust from potential customers. Maybe the money grab is bothering people about voting in this poll less than the concept. I could be wrong.

I will not be buying. I can tell by looking at it that the cost is more than I am willing to pay for a peripheral device.

Interesting will need more information on what the value ad is on the screen data vs visual on main screen data.

This is what it actually look like without the fancy trailer teaser styling over it.

Seems like it would take up a lot of desk space. Also, it doesn't seem very ergo friendly. I think it would be better if it was modular so people could set it up how they like.

I don't like the color, doesn't match with in-game cockpit's color theme.

might be better if it was charcoal grey or brushed gunmetal. ...even if it was black glossy, I would be interested since my computer, mouse, monitor, and keyboard are all black and grey.

Otherwise it would look like an outdated joystick sat on the wrong desk.

Im up in the air about this one. I was fine back in the day with a sidewinder kicking plenty of mech booty. I have a x-box stick and if it works why not stay with it. I cant justify blowing a wad of cash for this unless it's compatible with consoles. With that being said if I have the money just laying around sure I'll get it unless it's clitchy as hell.

I would consider it had I not already plunked $300 on a CH joystick setup. But I certainly hope this thing ends up being a solid device nonetheless.

Either that or the logitech flight system G940.

All depends on the price.

Rather have Logitech than Razer I bought one of their "Razer Diamondback" for £45 a few years back and it was absolutely catastrophically poo

Plus looking at the price of some of the other stuff they have for sale £114.99 for a mouse is ridiculous ;)

So god knows what the price is going to be for the new Artemis :P

Personally I am going to be buying a G940

OUTRIGHT. . . . HELL, NO!

Sorry for the caps. However, I'm not wasting my money on something that may or may not work. Besides, why do that? When I can go get a good joystick for close to $40, and still have it after some five years. Plus, the money spent on this system can be used in more productive means: say memory upgrades, etc. Thank you, no. This is not worth going after.

Don't understand the Razer hate...I have had my Anansi for over a year and am on my second Naga epic (gave the first one to my daughter) they are tanks.

Anyway yes I will buy one, I am a huge Virtual Pod player and I'm setting up a system to be as close to that experience as possible.

No. Because f... you Because: 1) I already have a better keypad and, I believe, a better joystick.
2) Small LCD is useless (actually it's detrimental in occupying valuable space, if only the whole LCD module can't be removed from system), but still influences the price.
3) I see no point in choosing hardware designed for specific game title. Titles come and go faster than hardware and I'm not going to play only one game.
4) That idea with puzzle and countdown cost me a lot of time in Photoshop for nothing (as it was impossible to "solve" the puzzle somehow before timer hits zero) and was a major disappointment.

If the quality is appropriate to the price then yes I would very much like to get it if I can come up with the money. But that is a rare thing these days. Extremely rare.

I will not pay fifty plus more because it says razor, or even MW:O, on it. I will not freakin away pay 200 300 bucks on a gimmick.

Now if it is a quality product at a reasonable price that happens to be designed with MW:O in mind? Hell yes.
