Create a sliding scale for how heat impacts weapons. Split the damage effects to do different effects. Once you go into shutdown, different effects can happen to your mech:
1st) Energy Based Weapons
-As soon as you go over 100% heat, all energy weapons for the rest of the match will do reduced damage
-Repeatedly going over 100% heat, and your energy weapons become broken
2nd) Missile/ Ballistic weapons
-As soon as you go over 100% heat, you stand a chance of ammo explosions.
-Repeated going over 100% heat, you stand a much greater chance of ammo explosions
