The point he's trying to make is that IS 'mechs are generally better than Clan 'mechs and that's why his OP list are all IS 'mechs. Can you confirm this?

Nope. There is far more diversity of selection on the IS side but we've had discussions in-unit about which is better over all.

Several of the guys i play with say they get comparable scores either side...

I personally can't speak to that as i've had about 4 weeks in clan factions total vs over a year in IS, since i used to be in a loyal house unit.

IS has better laser vomit while clan is faster. Both sides have their advantages. On IS i enjoy playing Jaegermechs and on clan i like Srm/SPL builds. Wouldn't say one side is better than the other.

We have spots in our lower Tier team (who will be Div D or E this season), in addition our Euro Team is looking for more then a few pilots as well.
