The item description for Command Console says "+10 pts". Color me ignorant, but WTH? What does that mean? Before I blow 3 tons on "+10 pts", lol.

TYVM in advance.

At this point in the game, the Command Console is NOT in use. You do not need to equip it as yet.

Theoretically it protects you from headshots as it adds 10pts to defend against crit hits.

Coincidentally, a ton of gauss ammo has the same effect with lesser wasted weight.

Emphasis on theoretically...

It also adds a module slot. They stated that there is plans in the making for making it viable to use.

It doesn't add module slot, it doesn't protect you from headshots even in theory (go here to learn how critical hits work), basically the only thing it "does" is taking one crit space in the head and weighing 3 tons.
Devs said that it will add module slot someday and that they are thinking of some other ways to make it usefull, but none are implemented (though it was several months ago and nothing happened since then).

The Beagle Active Probe used to make pie, but now it assists with sensor range and target lock on. I liked it better when it made pie.

If you need something to help prevent damage to your internals caused by your cupcakes and muffins, you may be making cupcakes and muffins wrong.

Noone ever complained.

Edit: on the second thought - dead people rarely do.

It lets you issue commands to other people on your team. They then have to follow the commands or they are ejected from the game.

It only works if you give the commands out loud though, in a lispy voice. Teamspeak is therefore required in order to use a Command console.

At the moment absolutely nothing. It's a place holder.
The +10 points is the growth you will experience in your balls as you become man enough to spend 3 tons with no benefit.

The command console lets you activate 3rd person perspective by pressing Alt + F4
