So I was browsing the forums and noticed something horrific. There was no thread about motory (Moe-ter-ee) stuff. So this is how the Gear Head (or Petrol Head) Thread! was born. I'm thinking we can go freestyle on this. Talk about motorsports, favorite cars, projects, TV shows, and so on. Hopefully i'm not the only Gear Head on this forum. ;)

Was a fan of Seb until Malaysia GP, but now im not so sure. Feel sorry for Mark though. I suppose this isn't the first time its happened though. Ferrari has a shot at the title, but they better get their **** together if they want to compete against Red Bull. Lotus looks good too, but they are going to need to attract some serious funding to keep pace with Ferrari, Red Bull, and Mercedes AND develop a 2014 car.

Marquez looks to be a runner for the Moto gp title, even though this is his debut series. It'll be interesting if he can stay ahead of his team mate.

Soooo I was born into a very pro-domestic home (i'm from America by the way). Although my Father is a Ford/AMC guy. I'm a big Chevy fan. Been one ever since I can remember. I have had a picture of a Corvette hanging on my bedroom wall since forever. I also love Caddy. The CTS-V is so hawt. Anyways I enjoy watching the ALMS (been to a race at Road America) and I watch the 24 Hours of Le Mans every year. Me and my Dad treat it like a holiday. ;) I also love sprint cars (World of Outlaws), Moto GP, and AMA. I have sooo many dream cars, most domestic. Not too big of an import guy. You could call me an import smasher. What about you guys?

Yeah I don't follow it too much but I have allways wanted to go see those guys. Going 100+ on two wheels is so freaking insane! I'm a KTM/Suzuki guy. Although I don't mind Yamaha.

Nope but it sounds awesome. Road America is my home track. I want to visit Mid-Ohio and Watkins Glen and of course Laguna Seca when I'm older.

It's good you're not a NASCAR guy. ;)

lol exactly. I was debating whether or not to include it in the poll because it is not a "real" racing series anymore.

Irrational self-centered demand fulfilled. Vote made. Next time make more Jeep bias for poll.

The American version is kinda lame but it is still pretty young. I mean have you watched early British top gear seasons? They pale in comparison to the newer seasons.

Vote spamming aside, I dig classic rides, like the older corvettes and camaros. I also like custom hot-rods.

British Top Gear ftw.
The only thing I liked about the American Top Gear was Stig's First entry into the show. The rest of the show is terrible.
The first like 20 sec is how they introduced the american Stig

Nice man. Yeah I love the classic stuff. The 67 427 Stingray is my favorite car of all time followed by the 63 Split Window. I love Camaros too. The 69 Z28 was a pretty insane car. I pretty much like anything classic American (custom or stock) although I'm not the biggest Ford guy.
