And you're asking people to "defend" like that is even a remotely fun thing right now. You're asking someone to pretty much gurauntie they will get almost no money and xp and a slight chance they might chase one light away while gimping the actual fight.

There. There is your ******* problem. People want more incentive to cap/defend.

I'm not asking them to defend. I'm simply saying that the reason the balance is so out of whack in the meta game is because people rush to play one big mob TDM or firing line TDM. This applies to both the weapon balance and the class balance. The balance isn't all that horrible if you, you know, play assault or conquest instead of smashing action figures together like a giggling toddler. However, that requires you play defense, check parts of the map and other items. If you don't find that fun, fine. But then shut your trap about balance and FOTM builds because it's your insistence on not playing defense and just smashing action figures together that's the root cause of the issue, and as long as you insist on doing that you will never have a balanced game to play. And you can also QQ more about capping when people see how to simply make a mockery out the boating firing line by capping, even though it's laughably easy to stop if you put a modicum of effort into it.
