well since they seem to be letting new stuff out like the quickdraw and kinatro, i am going to say that they are going to have another heavy, but its not going to be the orion they are going to put that out for release

i am going to go out on a limb and predict its going to be another 70 tonner and since they seem to really like humanoid mechs....

i'm going with either Grasshopper, Excalibur or Guillotine

Grasshopper has always been a favorite of mine they work fairly well. Wouldn't mind seeing a Crusader either.. Just the Crusader's reseen version is.. rough on the eyes

Official Launch is Sept if I recall correctly, that is next month. If I am not mistaken I believe we will see the Orion as our Lanuch Mech. In fact I think launch is 100% the reason why the Orion has been back shelved time and time again. It is General Kerensky's mech and it is hugely popular and massively antisipated. Aside from a Madcat, you couldn't pick a better mech to launch the game with.

Quickdraw was the hidden Heavy mech. I fully suspect it will be the Orion next month. We still have a hidden Light mech and a hidden Assault mech unaccounted for.

We have a flea MIA and a hidden light unaccounted for.

Orion will prob be next followed by some new assault mech, looks like light mechs have been ignored again. Still hopeful for a possible spider/raven hero mech tho.

i'm sure thats exactly why we didn't get an orion in the first place for the quickdraw, with PP in the works (and most likely as release) i am going to say that we have another hidden light heavy and assault. before they announce clan stuff

the missing weight classes are

95 tons ?
20 tons (most likely for the Flea)
75 tons (orion) and we all know that the other one is going to be the Mad Cat/Timberwolf that much is a given

other then that everything else is covered, and the other thing i can see for a 95 ton is a banshee

http://www.sarna.net...28BattleMech%29

and even then its not even that great, everything else is that class is another clan or doesn't come out for several years thats what i am going with

but i could be wrong as well if they try and pump out 2 mechs a month which is what i have heard (not sure if its true though

Nope. October will see the general release of the Locust, which is a light mech. Then the rest of the Project Phoenix mechs will follow in that order, Shadowhawk (med), Thunderbolt (heavy) and Battlemaster (assault). You won't see a new assault, which is the Battlemaster, until next January. Given that the Thunderbolt is at December, the Orion is going to be the last big mech till December, so the timing is about right for the Orion,

The Locust is a 20 ton light mech, so that will fill that gap.

well i respectfully disagree, no one expected the Kintaro to come out and a 55 tonner to fill that gap, so with that said we still have another hidden heavy and possibly assault and light

i heard they were planning to do 2 mechs a month so IF they follow that, after release all the project mechs plus the orion and flea would be all done and added by November

in an older interview as well they said that they have 16 more mechs to release that we don't know about, (this was before the project was annouced)
so take those 4 out thats 12

take out the victor kintaro, and quickdraw thats 9,

4 are going to be clan mechs (one of each class)

and we have 3 left that are who knows what
and there is the hidden heavy assault and light

personally i think we could have done without the Victor (i sold mine i don't like it) i mean 2 variats are exactly the same except for armor and jumpjet differences.

They should have added the Zeus or the Hatamoto-Chi would have been WAY better picks for 80 tons

The Thunderbolt isn't coming until December (C-Bill variants) or October (Phoenix variant).

Orion will be over-sized with a huge CT.

Calling it now.

Just look at the concept art, if the hitboxes are drawn poorly like a Kintaro, the CT is hit from the front and side.

Doesn't look too much worse than the Catapult, if not *slightly* better than it (Cat sides are really tiny, Orion sides aren't as tiny; at least not the side with missiles).

Think of it this way.

If everything that has been announced so far gets counted together we'd have:
6 Assaults (Atlas, Awesome, Stalker, Highlander, Victor, [Battlemaster])
7 Heavies (Catapult, Dragon, Cataphract, Jagermech, Quickdraw, [Orion], [Thunderbolt])
7 Mediums (Hunchback, Centurion, Cicada, Trebuchet, Blackjack, Kintaro, [Shadow Hawk])
6 Lights (Jenner, Raven, Commando, Spider, [Flea], [Locust])

There's still an Assault and a Light we don't know about that are required to round out the numbers. And Lights have been skipped over twice, including the Flea's skip and this unannounced Light's skip. Locust doesn't count as the missing Light and Battlemaster doesn't count as the missing Assault because they're in a set of 4.

thats right plus the clan stuff which will be one of each class, plus our missing mechs

8 Assaults (Atlas, Awesome, Stalker, Highlander, Victor, [Battlemaster]{Dire Wolf}{?})
8 Heavies (Catapult, Dragon, Cataphract, Jagermech, Quickdraw, [Orion], [Thunderbolt]{Timberwolf})
8 Mediums (Hunchback, Centurion, Cicada, Trebuchet, Blackjack, Kintaro, [Shadow Hawk]{Stormcrow})
8 Lights (Jenner, Raven, Commando, Spider, [Flea], [Locust]{Kit Fox}{?})

its probably going to be something kinda like this or close to it

i don't mean to be a party pooper but i am going to say no, simply because they probably had to deal with ALOT of legal brewhaha just to get the PP mechs which are reseen now

if you remember the mechwarrior trailer before mechwarrior online harmoney gold already sent them a cease and desist letter about that, i don't except to see the marauder or warhammer for awhile

if we DO see them its going to MAYBE be after realease

i still think its going to be the grasshopper
