Any stories of winning or even surviving a match with a gimped Mech?
Came to me when I had that happen last night in an AWS-8R. Screenshot right as the match ended.

I was running a brawler CTF-2X, we were fighting in the center of Forest Colony. Normally I could overwhelm anyone I wanted with short range firepower, but that wasn't the case with the Stalker I ran into, so I blasted his damaged leg off and disengaged.
Eventually I got both my side torsos torn off, my CT crit, and all my weapons lost. I started running towards the enemy base, hoping to distract someone.
As the fight went on in the lake, it eventually came down to one of our heavies against the Stalker I had legged earlier. The Stalker won. All I could do was stand there on the cap point, obliterating my fingernails.
The Stalker came into view and leveled it's weapons at me just as the match ended, and many ggs and lols were given.

I had an awesome gimp win just now.
I was on River City Night, right from the start of the match I ran into some terrain (near our base) and got stuck, wasn't able to turn or reverse or go anywhere. My teammates drew the battle line around me and knew what they were doing.
Fortunately I was testing my new build for the HBK-4g(F) trying it out as more of a support sniper with ac2 and uac5 instead of the standard ac20. So I just sat back as a stationary weapons platform and opened fire on anyone who came within site of my guns.
We ended winning with 4 deaths to their 8 and i jagged killing 2 lights which were harassing our units from behind and 3 kill assists. Was one of the best matches i've had in my 4g and all whilst I was stuck and somehow I lived through it all.

Had a game in River City earlier where the team was engaging the other team at high city with a 7v4 advantage and was inexplicably still dying. One of their spiders started capping our base, so I had to head back, fighting 2 of their other advancing mechs on the way. Blew up both, but as they were PPC alphabuilds they blew off both my side torsos in exchange before they died. Made it back to base with about 5 seconds to spare until he finished capping it... and started fighting it with my lone medium laser.
Managed to buy enough time until the rest of the team returned, and I had orange CT armor. Walked around and provided support fire until the spider died, then assisted the others with that one medium laser. Near the end there was only one Heavy Metal on my team left, and both a heavily damaged Stalker and a fresh Atlas on the other team. They came to cap, but the Atlas was such a bad pilot he fell into the tunnel allowing us to blast the Stalker to pieces. Then the Atlas came around while the Heavy Metal started chasing it in a very ineffectual way, and I had to buy time again by putting the base between myself and the Atlas - luckily he was a bad pilot, and a Hunchback is faster than an Atlas, so he never got to shoot until the Heavy Metal returned. Once he returned, the Atlas decided to switch target (unwisely) to the Heavy Metal, and in trying to damage him I CT cored him with that one medium laser.
That game was so slow, and the Atlas pilot so bad, it was painful to play the last few minutes.

I't s been on tourmaline desert and I've been a 3LL Trebuchet.
first I found an enemy HBK-4G and killed it since I'm faster and have junps so he couldn't hit me with his hunch cannon, them i found a lone Stalker and killed it too by burning his rear armor and jumping over him, then I've met a damaged gaussopult jumped when he was aiming gausses at me and finishet his damaged side torso.
Then I pressed TAB and realized that I'm the last man standing from my team and here come the Dragon and Muromets. I fought them pretty long, lost one leg and got cored and then they started to fight over the last kill, Muromets stood in fron of dragon to get the kill and got hit in rear by Dragon so he died and Dragon got overheated so I could finish the dragon and claim the victory.
It was my most gloryous fight yet.
