Considering that the K2 can't have Jump jets, the Catapult -does- now have the same torso twist as other mechs, none of the Catapult variants have more than 2 Ballistic hardpoints, doesn't have its arms slung down low where they can be protected, and that the maximum speed of the -mech- is not the same as the maximum speed of the -pilot- (please learn the difference between what the mech does and what the pilot does...and the maximum speed of the Dragon is increased just the same, still making the maximum speed of a Dragon higher than a Catapult), I think the only one looking like a D-bag is yourself.
120 degrees != 90 degrees (for the D-bags out there who dropped out of school during kindergarden)
except for the K2 (which has 110) all of the the catapult variants have torso twist of 120 BASE the next highest competitor being the jager with a whopping 110 (the same as the K2). and the other mech that we were specifically referencing was the dragon with the standard 90 degrees. all of these are the BASE values as reported by the MWO wiki:
http://mwo.gamepedia...avy_BattleMechs <-those pesky facts always ruin good arguments.
i have not checked any of the lighter mechs yet, because nothing outside of heavy mechs was mentioned, but i am fairly certain the catapult is still the king of torso twist in any class.
round 2: doesn't have it's arms slung down low where they can fire into the dirt. some of us actually like to expose our weapons on occasion to fire them. the high slung weapons mean that this can readily be done WITHOUT having to expose the whole mech. weapons don't do any good if you hide them all of the time.
round 3: how many AC20, gauss, AC10, UAC5, or AC5 can you fit in those 3 arm ballistic slots? if it has the full compliment of arm actuators you can't even put one AC20 on, any more than one UAC5 is impossible and the same goes for everything else except the AC5 where you can get 2. so unless you want to mount AC2 or machine gun having 3 ballistic slots in an arm gets you a big ball of nothing.
and the max speed thing was me stabbing at your general ignorance. if you READ the whole post you will notice i also mention the unaltered speed as well <-that would be the bit about the 78kph. i avoided using that number first because it had been a while since my cat ran that speed and i was too lazy to look it up at the time. and i very clearly labeled the first speed value as being AFTER speed boost was added. the exact base top speed according to the MWO wiki is 78.5kph (so i was remembering correctly) :

i await your response.
