That's a nice looking paintjob ;)

Not nice enough for me to join the everyone drives an assault mindset but nice nonetheless.

I'm not sure how I feel about every assault having a hero variant given the current meta of assaults everywhere though :(
I would have liked to see a hero bucket, though that would just give every medium a hero, ah well all in time I suppose.

Yeah I guess ill go back to waiting for my hero spider =( http://mwomercs.com/...ost__p__2316633

I've been complaining about the lack of Hero Mech info for weeks now. All is officially forgiven - please take my money.

If you have a laptop, angle the screen down a little bit and you can see the 6 missile holes on that right torso. Some people are suggesting that it does not have missiles in the arms ;) I guess Misery doesn't include streaks.

^This!! Watch for the new wave of p2w and qq if it gets 4 ppc space + the gauss. A *slightly* more balanced loadout would be more along the lines of- 3 arm/L-RT energy 1 CT energy 4-5 missile 1 ballistic

Pfft, AS7-RS is way ahead of you.

Actually, those holes in the arms look like missile tubes to me.
Missile arms with no energy?

possibly, but that is definitely a energy hardpoint in the CT on the nose

I think it depends on your computer screen's gamma... those dark spots on the right torso and holes in the arms are pretty tough to see. They kind of look like the same hole in the CT which I would wager is an energy slot... although I would be open to SSRMs out of the arms too! Don't care tbh, I'm super-excited for my long awaited Hero mech ;)

Nope, too low and too close to the cam for arms. Would've looked great for me if it wasn't for the ugly mouth and eyes. Looks very much like 1B,5E,3M Stalker, and that hardpoint distribution sounds great to me.

What I love most about stalkers is their ability to fire at pretty much anything they see with their arm hardpoints. On the more humanoid mechs one always has to consider the low-hanging arms, making waist-high obstructions the devil.

A nice paintjob and cool ballistic mount still won't fix the stalker's dorky looking walk with little baby feet. I suspect this thing has the potential to be OP as well - most of the other Stalkers are with their huge number of boat worthy hardpoints on high locations in a mech that's physically smaller than the catapult and almost as hard to CT core as a centurion.

Yeah, I really hate the Stalker.

After taking a screenshot and zooming in, the Gauss is most definitely connected to the LT. the SRM6 is most definitely still in the RT. The missile bay doors seem to still be fully present in both arms meaning at least 1 missile slot in each arm and the 2 'holes' in the top of each arm have a minor lens glare meaning they are likely still lasers, making 2 energy per arm and one obvious one in the CT.

So we have a minimum of 5 energy (2 LA, 1 CT, 2 RA), 3 Missile (1 LA, 1 RT, 1 RA), and 1 Ballistic (LT).

Could possible be a streak or something in the LT that isn't visible but all other hardpoints seem to be fully apparent.

A thing of beauty

And I generally have considered Stalkers to be ugly.

Hard to say. It's a Stalker with a Ballistic though... hawt.

Looks like energy to me. There is a reflection on them similar to the energy point under the nose. Ballistic slot looks like it might only take up that bulge in the side torso originally meant for a SRM6, so that should leave enough room for both of the missile bay doors (on the arms) to open.

I'm guessing:

LA 2 energy, 1 missile
RA 2 energy, 1 missile
LT 2-3 ballistic
RT 1 missile (Could just be a capped, unusable missile bay)
CT 1 energy

Stalkers get 8-10 weapon hardpoints, so at 10-11 it would still be in that same ballpark. Maybe it'll have a lower engine rating or some other "perk" to keep it in line with the rest of the chassis.

I think they have a great design for a Hero mech. Should get lots of sales. Gauss plus PPC is a deadly combo, and no other ballistic would work well in the blimp-o-death. Not really appealing to me though, nothing this mech will do that an Atlas-RS won't do much better.

Some of the holes might be from when the Stalker was destroyed (the first or second time?) prior to being salvaged and turned into this.

Not gonna lie.

I sure the hell didn't see this coming........

But It might just be my first Assault Hero. Overpriced? Check. Look SICK AS HELL? Check.

Better start trying to like stalkers, I guess.
