And so the Atlas becomes more and more obsolete.

I was hoping they'd make a Hero Stalker. I thought maybe it was never going to happen, but lo! Here it is. c:
And a ballistic weapon. Well, now MW4's hardpoints can be a little more believeable. >w< (Not that having 4 ballistic slots on the CT is really logical, but whatever. XD)

I see a Gauss Rifle on a Stalker. I sense my wallet growing lighter.

I see a Stalker mounting an AC20 and some SRM6 packs to go with it's hill peeking ER PPCs......

And I truly hope the skin textures look that good in game. Loving the battle damage.

I'm hoping it has multiple ballistic slots.

Mmm, dakka.

Let's hope this guy coincides with some kind of PPC or general heat cap nerf to make the ballistic slot(s) even more desirable.

On Misery itself... It looks cool. A little too "cool" for my taste, given it's a evil black mech of dark, evil blackness with evil eyes and evil teeth that is painted black and looks dark (and evil). A paint scheme that could well have been chosen by in-game poll. Mech of choice for XxShadowWolf97xX. Probably be a great little seller, so kudos to PGI's art team for that.

Looks like fun, but probably not enough to get me driving Stalkers.

GEE I WONDER HOW MANY PPC/GAUSS RIFLES I'LL BE ABLE TO PUT ON THIS ONE.

Not helping with the cynicism here, PGI.

I'm counting on 4 ER PPC and a Gauss..... and of course a tiny little engine to deal with all the weight......and no JJ to poptart...... and a grenade tied to the side of the Stalker....

Methinks thou dost protest too much.

We added color. In the ancient past, we datamined a stalker with two ballistic, two missiles, and four energy. This seems to have more energy.

It's gonna be more expensive than the PRETTY BABY.

OK, I don't normally agree with you.. but .. that looks very smexy. Reminds me of some promise to be able to change Hero Mech paint schemes in March........

The primary weakness of all the stalkers like the awesome was reliance on high heat weapons.

Having that 1 ballistic slot is going to be the cat's meow

True. But anyone anywhere BUT face to face can outflank it like it's a comatose sloth in a pool of molasses in the middle of winter. 9 times out of 10, people killed by Hex Stalkers die because they make the mistake of stopping in front.... I got no issue with a little Darwinian Education......

No, but I got an issue where this game is turning into wack'a'mole and sometimes, you're the mole.

This has the potential to dethrone the 3F as the king of Stalkers. Currently Stalkers are capped mainly by heat, so a ballistic slot could be exactly what the doctor ordered. Of course, the price is still outrageous, so I'm not going to touch it with a pole.

3 PPCs, and 1 Gauss

Now a computer generated simulator of what such a Stalker may be able to do:

I have a feeling that it may be another Pretty Baby though, with less slots overall to make it a little weaker than average ;).
