I run an AC/20 for the ballistic, with 2 ER LL for range and 3 ML to round it out. I tried 2 ER PPCs instead of the LL, but the heat was just too brutal. I also chain-fire the large lasers to help with heat.

Here's what i've come down to being the most effective.

Misery 3x LL 1x AC20.

Heat lasts for about 20 seconds firing everything. Similar in preformance at close range to a 5x Large Laser build but with higher alpha and better sustainable dps and engine size.

Tried 2 PPC and a Gauss rifle with 3x ML aswell. Works just fine if you like firesupport, kinda poor brawler between the PPC's and the Gauss.

I myself use two sets: long range and brawl. ER PPC on long range, when the brawl starts flush coolant and don't touch ER PPC unless desperate alpha. Brawl set is 3xML, SRM6 and an AC/20. I do like the 20 points pinpoint but my 3F is still superior.

I know I'm exclusively playing it, of all my Stalkers. It may not be the best Stalker, but is surely the most fun, and that's what matters.

You're right, it is fun to play! And that is what matters (especially when grinding c-bill). Nothing's nicer than pounding your enemy and see that certain shade of red and finish him with AC/20. Even thinking about that made me *** to my pants.
