^ They sprung for the hero variant.

Another thing, if we ever get a Warhammer, I want that light on the shoulder to be able to blind people. To be "fair" it should only work if they are looking directly at me, and only on people in whatever vision mode I happen to be in.

That won't be abusable at all. nope nope ^_^.

One time, someone snuck an homage to Robotech into a comic book. This means it's AOK to just ignore a clear-cut court ruling in favor of a rabid IP troll!

(PS Marvel's parent company is this little mom & pop enterprise.)

There is some serious Poe's Law action in this thread.

Yeah let's just hope they let someone who truly cares and understands the SW universe to run it and leave the "Disney" out of it...

so... what we need is for Disney to buy all the rights to Battletech, then we can get all the Unseen we want, because Disney has deep enough pockets to do HG like HG did FASA.......

Much as I detest the Evil Empire, I might actually be OK with that....

Does this mean that Battletech exists in the Marvel universe? More importantly, is Wolverine around in 3050 and does he have a battlemech? These questions need to be on the next Ask the Devs.

:-) One could hope. Of course, in the real world, companies that large often are inefficient in their priorities, and let cool stuff languish unfunded while everybody works on their pet project until they sell half the IP to another company and scuttle forever the chances for anything to happen with it.

This Hydra Warhammer hero mech appears to have 1 PPC on it's arm, and each side torso has 1 llas, 2 mlas, and 1 slas, in addition to the line SRM6 mounted up top, and a light (lets call it a scanner in this case :(). Additionally, it seems to have some MGs mounted in the head and center torso area... say... 3. It looks pretty sweet.

those robot things don't actually look exactly like the warhammer, just some pieces of it. I have a feeling battletech could have done similarly by making some modifications to the design rather than taking it as is.

^ That's been attempted, but for some reason people seem to think that "some modifications" = "beating with the ugly stick".
