Good greets everyone, I am Daedalus, or whatever you want to call me really. Even if you want to call me Gefilte fish, or something. I'm a huge fan of my sniping, fast moving spider mech right now, but I am currently maining my centurion as my killing mech.
Anyhow, let's cut to the business! Me and a group of friends are looking to join a casual group of Rasalian Hagoos(not lore accurate).

Though, the thing is I'm not too well informed about how the faction system works in this, or how this faction is organised as it appears it's quite autonomously run. If you could point me and my friends in the right direction I'd be overjoyed, thank you!

^ hey, Gefilte Fish! Now that I know you, congratulations on finding yourself a somewhat organized group! (within our faction)

Since we were talking about Highlanders tonight, here's some more of what I've figured out:
The description for the HGN-732 says "...The HGN-732 also has a 10% faster turn speed than the base Highlander."
HGN-733: "...It also has a 10% better turning rate than the standard Highlander turn speed."
HGN-733C: "...An increased 5% turning rate and torso movement rate over standard Highlander numbers aid it at close range."
The description for the 733P doesn't say anything about turn rate or torso movement rate, so this must be the one with "standard" Highlander turn rate.
I believe the Heavy Metal also has the "standard" turn rate, but also has the most jump jet capacity.

If you go to the wiki: http://mwo.gamepedia...lander_HGN-733C
You can go down to the Chassis Attributes Table, and it will show you the torso twist and pitch range, and the arm pitch and twist range for the mechs. The Highlanders all have the same range of motion for the torso. Only the 733C has a narrower twist range for the arms, because of an actuator that's been removed to make room for the AC/20.

Thank you sir. In the end I went with the 733 Highlander, and I managed to make a really powerful build with it's missile hard points and ballistic point, it can engage effectively at all ranges but packs it's real punch when you get in range with the 6 SRM+A's. I'm really pleased with the Highlander right now - thank you for all of your guidance and advice on the chassis.
