...enable Ambient Occlusion in your graphics card driver settings.

I used to having missing building and terrain textures at least half the time in Frozen City and Frozen City Night, as well as a couple of times in Alpine Peaks. Since enabling AO (in Performance mode) in my Nvidia drivers, I have had zero instances of missing textures.

Of course, this does come with a performance hit. Depending on your settings and setup, you may need to step down one size on the game resolution to keep your FPS up.

I run AMD Radeon card, so I had to use user.cfg to enable ambient occlusion:

I've played with few more variables, but still with no effect except FPS drop to 22-29 FPS from limited 35 (sys_MaxFPS = 35)

2-3 Frozen City I happened to run all had no-textures bug. We still have no workaround for no-textures bug, unfortunately.

Yeah, it doesn't guarantee the textures. About four hours into a session I had a single instance of no textures on Frozen City. Before and after that, it was fine again. So the rate of having no textures has gone down dramatically. Unfortunately, I don't know whether it was the changes I made to my driver settings or something ninja-fixed in the last hotfix applied on Friday. Maybe a combo of both.

It defintely wasn't a ninja fix as I was playing Frozen City last night and every time it came up I had flickering/missing textures.

After the may 7th patch I get no textures.
