Is it just me or are there other people who are just enjoying this game, broke as it may be? I ask this question because I on on the board here bout every day while I work. And most of the time it's complaints about just about everything.

My best friend turned me onto this game in Jan and I have been having a blast from day one. Now maybe my perspective is limited due to the amount of time I have been playing and that I have not flown anything bigger than a medium. But I come here and read the boards and there are some posters who genuinely care about the game and trying to make it better and there are those that ***** for the sack of bitching because they want the game to fit their style.

But my point is this, I have played with every broke thing in the game so far. Be it the freakin Raven 3L, to the overpowered LRM's to the incredible streaks and now the poptarts. But I play around all of these things and I work to overcome them. For me that is what keeps the game fun for me. Now as a light pilot I run like hell from Jaggers. But shoot missiles at me, I'm looking for cover. If an overpowered mech is on me, I'm looking and calling for help. I just adapt and don't let the games shortcomings ruin my experience.

Broke as this game is it's still a lot of fun for me every time I log on. I PUG every day, and I fail to see why people are so hard on PUGs. I win just as many times as I lose. I have been on some great PUGs and some downright horrible ones. But for me that keeps the game fresh because I never know what I'm going to get.

Now I can appreciate people posting to try to improve the game. But when I see people saying poptarts, ore streaks are making them quit. I just think people are looking too hard at a GAME and are missing out on the pure fun of it.

But maybe it's just me.

I'm with ya....yet I'm pretty new (couple months) so I'm not a fair person to comment on this.

But yes, I am loving the crap ata this game! I'm just adapting to each PUG!

First thing you should understand is that forum posters make up about 0.1% of the game's player base. Once you take that into account, all the whining is really pointless. There are plenty of players, old and new, that are loving the hell out of this game.

If you want to find some of them just head over to the No Guts, No Galaxy podcast page and join their Teamspeak server. Much laughs to be had by all.

Most players complaining on the forums are still playing the game, they just want some things fixed. Probably the old sqeaky wheel gets the grease syndrome, why tap PGI on the shoulder when you can hit them on the head with a sledge hammer. PGI has been slow to respond on certain issues and that gets a louder responce the longer it remains broken.

Im playing as Im posting, so true story there. And yes my posts are pretty darn anti-PGI. Thing is im not playing what I want to play, instead im in a light with a cap mod bc thats basically cryptonite for a ppc toting slug who sits mid map for the entire game. Id rather get in their and mix it up in a dragon or phract tbh with you, but thats just a fail sammich absent the 3ds poptart loadouts.

You should head over to the no guts ts server if you want to find some mates to play with her are not unhappy with the game. Clump of white knights that come across like this guy...
