I second this opinion and will seriously consider purchasing this trial mech when it becomes available.

Better to do a build with 5 ML or something (5 rather than 6 because of the drastic boost to heat efficiency, which makes it far more forgiving for newer players).

The issue here though is that the DHS distribution is poor.. and should even out instead of being spread. Losing the left arm would be too crippling IMO.
If the mech were designed to skim a little armor (since there is extra tonnage remaining) to get the tonnage for 4 meds+2 smalls and distribute it evenly, it would work better than the current version, which isn't bad, but not exactly "symmetric".
See the following:
4 meds+2smalls:
JR7-F
5 meds:
JR7-F
If we focus on nailing the "stronger" arm in the current build, the Jenner is easily crippled... especially in the current meta. Extreme short range is unproductive for most lights and increases their vulnerability.
The builds can be composed differently, but the functionality would be overall the same.
Please reconsider the build on the final Jenner version.

However, since the Trial Mech program will be ending in the foreseeable future, I don't know if people are going to be forking over MC for the XP bonus, or simply because Champion Mechs will come pre-decked-out with LosTech and will save users from having to add millions of C-Bills' worth of DHS, ES, etc...
... I mean, that's kinda the main reason why I would want one instead of a stock Jenner.

I hope the SSRMs get a debuff that they dont hit every time the CT. Total annoying is that when you get a streak in your face from 90° and 20 meters near the target.
