I'm a proponent for more detailed patch notes... But PGI feels most people don't give a crap about the little things, so they just put what they deem important in their patch notes.
"Meaningful" is a subjective word. I personally don't know how anyone wouldn't consider this patch to be meaningful.
There are a lot of big changes coming before launch, not regular things like more maps and mechs. Things like UI 2.0, Community Warfare, etc... I don't see how the number of patches makes any difference.
Are you crazy?
I think this patch is fairly crappy. And when I say that, the WKDF come back with "Well duh, everyone knows they do one big/meaningful patch and one MC item/small stuff patch".
Seems kind of crazy to have such low expectations.
I personally think even if you took every patch (8-9 of them) before release. It's not enough time for PGI to do what they are talking about.
They almost always have delays, and they almost always introduce new bugs with patches fixing old ones.
See below for my example of the "One crappy patch, one good patch scenario" that keeps being floated at me.

That's how it always is, BTW. First patch of the month is new hero mech, other MC goodies, alongside some minor fixes. Then the second patch is the big one (usually with new chassis entirely, big changes, new maps, etc).
So are we saying that they are going to get UI2.0 and CW, along with the multitude of weapon/equipment fixes they need to do done in 4-5 patches?
