A new Savior Assist bonus is needed that gives less than the huge 7500CBills and 150XP bonus for Savior Kills.
Therefore, I propose the creation of a Savior Assist bonus that:
  • Is worth 1.25 to 1.5 times greater than the regular Kill Assist bonus (I don't have the numbers for that off hand)
  • Would be granted to anyone that performs a kill assist on an enemy mech that died as a result of a Savior Kill
  • Would not be in addition to regular Kill Assist bonuses
  • End of match or death stats would consider "Savior Assist" to be a type of "Kill Assist"
Some additional background on Savior bonuses and the need for a Savior Assist:

Currently, "Savior Kill" bonuses are granted to anyone who helps take down an enemy that is seriously wounding a friendly mech even if the teammate merely assisted. Given the current definition of a Savior Kill that does not give room for assists, this functionality is a bug.
Whenever that bug is ever addressed, a new Savior Assist bonus would definitely be needed in order to not shaft those that assist with kills regularly.

Why on earth are you complaining about getting more CB? Of all the things on their bug list, this is one of the few that I can think of that is universally beneficial to players. Just ignore it.

Its like a statement for a balanced economy opposed to supporting inflation that makes CB worth less. Also, I don't want this to turn into the US economy :)
