This time around on frozen city my Centurion took on his Cataphact and after an intense few minutes, I had prevailed.
(I regard this as my greatest fight to date.)
I think he still has the fight filmed on you tube somewhere.

He has some really good light pilot tips and some Mech-cellent commando builds at F8L.co.
Under you tube name Mycroft Holmes, he has some great light mech tutorial videos. He is also regularly on comstar team speak and is very friendly and approachable. (more so then me
I consider myself a decent light pilot but Mycrus is an exceptional light pilot.
However if you want to know about Atlai, I know a thing or two about those.

Last night, this Blackjack was pelting away with ACs and MGs for a while as I ran around dealing with other stuff.. basically annoying the hell outta me. Finally we meet up. After a little foreplay, he starts circling and after a little bit of circling with that friggen guy, I stopped my Orion dead and turned around the other way.. he ever so nicely delivered himself right into my crosshairs, and I repaid the favour with a nice AC10/Double ERPPC sandwich to his face, destroying him instantly.
Then I said "get off my lawn."

I spotted the Jenner and fired my LB-10s at him. Just then, the Spider ran out in front and took half my LBX blast and died. The other half sailed downrange and destroyed the Jenner. Double kill!

Dropped on the side near the arch. Good players all around. Our team had great 4 man premade group and I believe the other team may have had one or two premades. Round starts and I head over to arch hill with my dual gauss Jager and set up to snipe at the other team. Another Jager (ShrunkenEd) join me, armed with ACs, along with an ecm raven.
Ed and I start taking pot shots at red team across the valley from about 800m away, but my aim was off initially and the terrain clipping didn't show up right on my screen, so I kept either missing or hitting invisible walls in front of enemy players.
Never the less we managed to get their attention with some hits and an arty strike. This kept them focused on us and on keeping their heads down while the rest of the team set up for the traditional right side push.
At this point I notice a thunderbolt, a shadowhawk, and a jenner trying to flank our sniper's nest from the left, using the high ridge and rocks as cover and concealment. Uh OH!
I snap off a couple of gauss rounds into the CT of the thunderbolt, then get back under cover and type out "Tome to move!" and "Rejoin main group1" Ed saw the message (btw, I've never played with the guy before until that game, so there's at least one other pug player out there who pays attention to team messages
The thunderbolt, however, was right on our *****. I pop back a couple of times to take some shots at him and give Ed some cover as he was running behind me, but now the Thunderbolt was within 400 m of us and had the advantage in firepower. I turn tail and start running full speed, hugging rocks on my left as cover. Mr. Thunderbolt is trying to get at every sliver of exposed Moobs, hitting my right rear toso with his lasers as my sillohett kept disappearing behind rocks.
Finally we reach the ridgeline where red team is normally positioned. Our team was still about 500 m away and if we ran towards them we'd both be run down and shot in the back. It was time to stand and fight.
I turn around 180 degrees with my gauss rifles pointing to the corner about 300 m away where the thunderbolt is about to pop out. Meanwhile Ed was standing a little behind of me on a hill facing a gap in the rocks to the right where a BJ (not sure when he joined the chase) was heading towards us through the valley. Our Raven had long ago left to join the team.
The Thunderbolt comes around the corner. I get my dual Gauss rifle shot off directly into his CT. He dropped right there without even getting off a shot!
Now I turn to the right. The BJ was just coming through the gap in the rocks in front of ed, but had gotten stuck. I zoom in with Adv zoom from 300m, put my reticule right on the center of his cockpit and fire in one smooth motion. BJ goes down instantly.
Now I turn back to the direction where Mr. Thunderbolt had come from. With 2 enemies down, Ed and I barely damaged, we now had fire power and weight superiority and numbers parity. Time to hunt down Mr. Shadowhawk and Mr. Jenner.
Shadowhawk broke cover first. He must have realized that he was in trouble because he was running in a beeline perpendicular to my line of sight down into a small valley for cover. Unfortunately for him he made the mistake of turning to look at me when I was zoomed in and had my gauss ready to go. I get my reticule on his cockpit just as it was disappearing behind the hill. It was so close his cockpit was way bigger than my reticule and I did not even have to lead him. PEW! The Gauss rifle discharges. I see a bunch of dust kick up and it looked like he continued going into the valley and disappeared. Did I miss him? Did I hit the hill in front of him? Then I see the messages: "Enemy destroyed" "Component destroyed". Headshot number two.
But I didn't have time to think about it because there in the valley in front of me was the jenner, now trying to weave and dodge unpredictably to get way. I zoom in again and fire as soon as the GR reloads. Drats! The shot didn't coverge. The shot from my right GR went wide, but I watched in amazement as the one from the left sail straight into his cockpit. From my perspective it looked almost like the Jenner ran into it. Jenner must have had some prior damage because this shot killed him. Headshot again as far as I can tell.
So, in the space of about 30 seconds, I killed 4 mechs with 4 consecutive dual gauss shots. One CT shot followed by 3 consecutive headshots, the last two almost unbelievable shots that you'd never think would work. Needless to say for about 10 seconds I felt like ******* king kong walking the battlefield.
If you want to see the battle from the perspective of our premade (which, in reality did most of the work), look here:

Maps starts at 1 hour 13. You don't get to see my battle, (but Mister Blastman's battle is pretty exciting too) but you if you look carefully you can see at 1:18, panicked messages of "Tome to move!" and "Rejoin main group", then two little blue arrows show up near F5 F6 on Mister Blastman's tactical map. Starting at 1:18:30, a little red arrow appears in front of one of the blue arrows, and then disappears, accompanied by a message saying JigglyMoobs killed X. By 1:19 three more such messages had appeared and the battle had wrapped up enough that Jiggly could just sit around and trash talk.

My most satisfying kill happened quite a while ago on Caustic Valley.
The battle went as per usual, most of the combat around the Caldera. I was in my HBK-4SP, but near the end of the match I had lost a leg and was reduced to hobbling around. Luckily the enemy forces were down to only one Jenner. 2 other pilots on my side were still active, I can't recall what Mechs they were but they were chasing after the enemy as he swooped around the West side of the map heading towards our base in the South.
I was coming from the North-West side of the Caldera, but with my lame Mech there was no way for me to give chase. So I resorted to watching the mini-map for a moment, and took a guess as to the line the enemy was going to be using to reach our base - and I headed off on a very slow and obtuse interception angle. Had to adjust my angle a couple times during my hobble, but I actually managed to cut the Jenner off, fired my SRM6's and finished him off.
Haven't had another kill that felt as good as that one did.

A week or two back, I killed an AC40 Jager with my Jager (2 AC10's, 2 machine guns, 2 medium lasers) - it was fun killing cheese with non-cheese.
Many months ago, my old Highlander vs. a light. We were the only ones left, and the final battle took place on our base. This was when PPC's still did damage under 90m, and that was the only weapon I had left - everything else was destroyed or out of ammo. So, I had to grind down a light mech while in an assault mech with nothing but a PPC doing terrible damage. Good thing he was beat up, too, or I wouldn't have barely won that match.
Oh, and pretty much any time my Awesome does well is fun. Take that, good mechs!

We were on Crimson Strait and I dropped in my Thunderbolt 9SE, armed with four LLas (say cheese). Starting point was near the docks with the plattform.
I went for the upper deck at the platform. Most of red team was crawling around on the lower deck and I took pot shots at them from the elevator openings with a couple of team mates. All of a sudden three mechs came up one ramp and I was the only one engaging them. They ripped me open all over the front... Critical damage alarm rings... I took cover...
Looking around I notice my team has left the scene... No one there to bail me out and these guys around the corner knowing about me, I knew I am dead meat if I engaged them. Desperate times ask for desperate measures so I jumped down one of the elevator openings, into the brawl going on there.
Look left... look right... no one has taken notice of me but a jagermech is standing in front of me about 150 meters away, looking in the other direction. I lock him and plan to shoot him in the back to deal some last damage before going down. I notice it has both front side torso shot open... I hold my fire and rush in... 'Half your weapons I take with me' methinks cyrcling around his left side and alpha his side torso - and he goes down!
XL engine was my saviour.
End of the story: I lived to see the end of the match and I even did a second kill - my first Oxide. That was

This was after a 3 min+ long duel, last 2 mechs standing.....
One duel vs another K2 Cat with my SPDR 5k. I manged to CoD him with my 4 mgs.....
Maybe not best kill but best performance to date was a 5 on 1 with me being the 1 in my 5V Spider with just one ER laser. I manged to kill 4 of the 5 and net 565 damage:) I was so angry the cowards wanted to gank me I decided to try to make them look like idiots:)
*edit thought of some more*

i was in a kintaro,armed with 4 ML and 3 SRM 6's.
not sure wat map,but i think its forest colony.
there was an atlas LRM'ing my squad,so what the heck, ima shoot him with SRM 6's.
i guess he was a newbie since he couldnt shoot me.
i continued ramming him with srm 6's and finished it with my trusty 4 ML lasers, then he died.
